  1. Thanks. I'll go sync with Jeff. *IF* I was buying, any reason why I need more than 8" ones. One suction cup == max one person. I can't lift even near 150lbs, let alone 265lbs. So I'm thinking 8". ZUOS 8" Glass Suction Cup - 150lb Safe Load Capacity @ $42 ZUOS 10" Glass Suction Cup - 265lb Safe Load Capacity @ $58 PNWMAS Club ... If I buy 6 of these, in a month+ (depends on how long it takes to get a stand), I'll be done with them - and willing to sell to the club at 75% of what I paid for them. PM if interested in discussing.
  2. Any other inputs from the group, before I go out and start buying these?
  3. 68" x 36" x 24" - all 1/2" glass... I think that's around 400-450lbs
  4. All, I've bought a tank from a club member. Need to move it from their house to mine, and again then after I get a stand built. I'd love it if someone had ~6 to borrow, twice Or if the club owns sets of these If not... I've heard they can be rented, checking now. An older post listed $15-day/each If I need them Twice, I'm considering just buying them Feedback needed, Which of these types am I looking for? @ $68 / pair - IMT Heavy Duty Dual Vacuum Suction Cup Glass Lifter with Curved Pads, Strength Handheld Stone Handling Tool, 330lb Horizontal Suction Cup https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07DRBCK1X/ref=twister_B08CGP5DL4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 @ $40 / each - ZUOS 8" Glass Suction Cup Heavy Duty Hand-held Glass Lifter, Industrial Vacuum Lifter with handle for Granite Lifting &Window Replacement, 175 lbs Load Capacity/Carring Case https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07K222FV1/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_MQwpFb0G3WC7G
  5. OBrien CNC Superman: August 17 - Check OUT Sad news, I'm out. My frag is a goner. Last weekend I spiked my alk to 14. Change Ca Reactor Media, Fresh Batch of Kalk, upped my CO2 slightly, Fresh batch of Red Sea Pro (black bucket) salt... No surprise, I've had some losses. One of them was this frag. I'm Out. 😞
  6. Thanks all for this grow out. Fun, but also Very educational to compare what I experienced with what others were able to achieve - real time. Helps!
  7. Last time I needed Interceptor I got it from our regular Vet. Just explained what it was for, and the doc was happy to write the script and they could sell it to us directly. I did it in person, and brought with me print outs of the articles stating it's use, dosage, etc.
  8. Looks ready to explode with growth and fill out beautifully.
  9. OBrien CNC Superman, Check-in: August 4 Just not taking off. In the past month I've been bumping Nitrates and Phosphates up in my system. Going slow.
  10. Well Done. I like how clean it looks, and you've planned for future maintenance. Looking forward to seeing it in place.
  11. What!? The tank doesn't have water in it yet! Oh man. I thought it was already wet. Do it, Do it!
  12. Post a picture anyway. Let's all admire how big and nice it is. Put something in the pict so we can see scale. (like set it next to a 5 gallon bucket)
  13. Although I don't see a lot of colors right now, I've had good luck ordering livestock from ReefTopia.com. Straight from the collectors. https://reeftopia.com/collections/ricordia-and-zooathids
  14. If Scott doesn't want it, I too am in the market. New tank (5.5' by 4') is going to need a showcase piece. How big is it, gotta pict?
  15. Bill, I just sent off two RFQ's for my new tank friday. Can you expand who exactly "SC Aquariums" are. Website URL?
  16. I like the floor trim, give the setup a really clean look.
  17. Have you tried finding them on this resource? (I haven't tried to match your pictures up, just providing the reference) https://www.reeflex.net/kategorie/61.html
  18. I've forked the Apex Programming of this feeding discussion to a different thread. Any follow up on that topic should goto This thread;
  19. And the validated results... And I'm ready to go! Thanks @Snappy for the feeding schedule. I can now afford to do it, without burning 1hr of my time manually switching the pump&MP40s on/off.
  20. And Now, my implementation and validation details. I did it, and it works. I changed the names of Virtual outlets ("timer" --> "FeedStorm"), and added Test-Switch, Test-Pump, and Test-MP40s to allow me prototype in isolation. First, it took me reading the code three times to understand how it worked. And THEN i mocked it up in excel to just watch the timeline by by. FeedStorm1 = 60 minutes -- Main Pump & MP40s OFF @ 0s FeedStorm2 = 30 minutes -- turn MP40s ON @ 30mins FeedStorm3 = 5 minutes -- turn MP40s OFF @ 35mins FeedStorm4 = 10 minutes -- turn MP40s ON @ 45mins FeedStorm5 = 5 minutes -- turn MP40s OFF @ 50mins (and then Timer1 Expires), Main Pump & MP40s ON @ 60mins The Code: --> Testing Code: [FeedStorm1] Set OFF If Swx13_1 CLOSED Then ON If Outlet Test-Switch = ON Then ON Min Time 060:00 Then ON [FeedStorm2] Set OFF If Output FeedStorm1 = ON Then ON Defer 030:00 Then ON [FeedStorm3] Set OFF If Output FeedStorm2 = ON Then ON Defer 005:00 Then ON [FeedStorm4] Set OFF If Output FeedStorm3 = ON Then ON Defer 010:00 Then ON [FeedStorm5] Set OFF If Output FeedStorm4 = ON Then ON Defer 005:00 Then ON [PUMP_FRAG] & [Test-Pump] Fallback ON Set ON If Output Timer1 = ON Then OFF MP40_FRAGE_L] & [Test-MP40s] Fallback ON Set ON If Output Timer1 = ON Then OFF If Output Timer2 = ON Then ON If Output Timer3 = ON Then OFF If Output Timer4 = ON Then ON If Output Timer5 = ON Then OFF [MP40_FRAGE_R] --> (Same Code as MP40_FRAGE_R)
  21. This thread is a fork from the Acan Growout thread, so we don't hijack it too much. Starting by repeating the guts of the thread... I'll follow-up with my Implementation and validation.
  22. This is a great question. If they'll eat frozen Astrenia, I'll start freezing what I pull. I've worked mine down to ~5/wk, because I'm sure they were bothering/eating corals, but it'd be easy to freeze what I pull. Today I just set them in a cup and let them dry out.
