  1. We have two 29 Gal. Biocubes which are about 2 months old and were cycled using about 30lbs LR and 20lbs Live sand, and used "Stability" to aid in the cycle. Tank 1: Older style cube, using Biocube filter cartridge and a DIY media rack with Chemipure and Carbon. Stocked with several assorted SPS and LPS corals, 1 sm Yellow Tang, 1 Damsel, 1 Starry Blenny, and 2 sm Percula Clowns with Lg Rainbow Anemone. Clean up crew consists of a few Hermits,Turbo snails. Nitrates= 80+ppm Tank 2: New Biocube, using Biocube filter cartridge and Bioballs. Stocked with a few LPS corals, and several softies like Toadstool, Xenia and Mushrooms as well as 2 Picasso Clowns with 2 sm RBTAs, 1 Diamond Goby, 1 Lawnmower Blenny and a Potters Wrasse. We feed both tanks every other day with a small amount of LRS Reef Frenzy. Nitrates=40ppm Both Nitrate levels are the highest they have been since we started them. PH is 8.0, Ammonia is 0, Nitrites is 0. We have been doing 30% water changes every week with RODI water and "Reef Crystal" Salt.
  2. Well, after 3 weeks of weekly water changes with RO water, we still have high nitrates in both tanks. We have recently added som macro to both sumps as well. Any advice on where we should go next?
  3. As some of you may remember , I'm a local truck driver and frequently run through Bend/Redmond area as well as Klamath Falls, Medford and the South coast and I5 corridor usually on a weekly basis. I would be happy to transport private sales and trades between members within the state. It would of course be your responsibility to arrange getting the items to and from me on my schedule, but I would gladly work with you if I can. Also items would most likely need to fit in the cab of my truck since sometimes I have a sealed trailer. My trips originate in Vancouver,WA and I live in Salem, so I should be able to accommodate most everyone. I'm not really looking for compensation, just trying to pay it forward if you will. But will never turn down the opportunity to ehance my reef tank. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using Tapatalk

  8. Thats what I was afraid of. But ya got admit, that would be a good idea and probably an easy firmware upgrade. Other than that though, im loving the lights.
  9. Does anybody have an AI Prime? Ive had this light setup for about a week now and love it. I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a way to save different timing schedules for different days of the week? For example, during the week we have to the lights setup to come on later in the morning and turn off later in the evening since we go work early and get home late, but on the weekends, we would like to veiw the tank more in the morning. I cant seem to be able to find much documentation on these lights as far as configuring schedules. Thanks in advance.
  10. Forgot to mention, in West Salem
  11. Why do I keep making double posts?
  12. We have a pretty good size Sea Cucumber that is really too big for our 29g cube, so if you can give him a good home, he's yours for free...frags always welcome.????

  15. Both of our cubes are up and running nicely at this point, and we are looking for one or two anemones, and some coral frags. We are in Salem, but don't mind traveling a little ways to help tanks populated. Let me know if have anything. Thanks.

  17. Looks like I'm going to an RO/DI setup from sd45x,just gotta find some spare time to get up to NE Portland from Salem.
  18. Does anybody in Salem area have a RO/DI system for sale?
  19. So, we have both cubes up and running, everything looks happy. We decided to run tests on both tanks, the readings pretty much the same for both. PH = 7.8 and 8.1 Amonia=0 Nitrite=0 Nitrate= 20 and 40 Before panicing, be decided to check our tap water, which is showing the same results. We filled both tanks with tap water and dosing with "Stability", since dont have a RO/DI setup yet. My question is, will RO/DI cure this problem?
