I now have reason to move my clowns into the DT. They've been in a 10gal QT tank, growing out a little. How long do I need to acclimate them? They are on a different system, but they're filtration came off the DT, and the WC comes from the same bucket.

If you can just get rid of the rock. I personally would rather chuck a small rock and be done than try to fight that battle if at all possible. Had 1 show up when I added some rock to my tank, I was told they spread easily!!! and decided removing a rock that cost maybe 7$ was less of a hassle than juice or any treatment that would probably cost more than the rock and gave me no guarantee that those things didn't spread while I was trying to get rid of them.

Lots of experience here too. Congratulations nothing ever changes your life like a baby will. Coco butter and vitamin E will keep her skin nice and see food is a good building block for the brain, it's been studied and proven. And never show fear, kids can smell it

UPDATE Heat was the problem. Not everything came out in a day, but everything did come back out. Thx guys. I hope it work out for you to Gill. Not psychic, just been there done that I have my own 2 and we used those locks too. Great locks but they encourage the kids to climb a little sooner to get to the high places those can be placed.

THE TANK The tank that was going to the project isn't available. I have a back up but it needs to be drilled. Nick at rose city has agreed to do this. As many of you know I don't drive (you nice people don't want me on the road trust that). So the problem is getting the tank to Nick. Any takers on this?

TWO THINGS Please direct the last little equipment PM's to LC Scott. HE is better and understands more about those things. The return will be 1" same w/ the like I said I only have basic knowledge of that part. Squidhc is also the 1 working on the sump, but I pm him and haven't heard back. Dog could pull the kid anywhere, but she knows the right way to correct him, and he knows that correction stands even if I'm not the one holding the leash. It is all about education

Well as sad as it is we live in a world where we've lost the ability to see beyond ourselves 90% of the time. If it's not human we don't care. Hopefully we'll be able to loose that mentality, but that's not likely, so lets be that 10% that is responsible and does care. And you are 100% about the shop owner it would be nice if there were more responsible business owners, who cared a little further than the all mighty dollar. We can teach our children the right way, so lets start there. That's what I have control over, so that's what I focus on.

That shark made me want a salt water tank. Yes I do plan,(PLAN)to have 1, when my husband and I are retired and I have the resources to set up a tank for the long term care of the animal. Probably just a dream, but we'll see in 10 years. I'm big on animal rights though, and don't think the average hobbyist is prepared for that type of responsibility. The shark thing kinda reminds me of people who try to own tigers and find out down the road that it's not a house cat. Sadly the animal is now homeless with out the instinct they need to survive.
