  1. We are doing Lawrys Thursday...sounds good!
  2. Hahha nudie cards! I've been doinng the same thing to them! LOL Is the Piano bar at Imperial Palace? We saw Peepshow too and feel the same way and were amazed at how TV "slims down" the stars. She's got some junk in the trunk when you are 20 feet away! Hahahaa
  3. We get our fill ( if thtas possible) from In and Out when we see family in Cali, but it is only a mile from Cesars and you are spot on with the buffet...The Rio is the best! Friday nights when they do the seafood is amazing. Carved ice and miles of food! We tried "Pampas" at Planet Hollywood on Monday night. Its buffet style, but they bring the meat and seafood to your table on giant skewers that are fresh from the rotessierie, oven etc. Its like a Meat Parade!
  4. Tagged along for the wife's work conference. Couldn't let a paid suite a Cesars go un attended all day! We usually visit in the 80 degree months when they still have the pools open, no choice on this trip. Well, choice to stay home or go with her! Don't let my boredom and whining fool you...you should come! It is an amazing strip ( dirty, hot, crowded city, but the strip is amazing). If you ever have even a couple days and a few hundred bucks, you should catch a cheap flight. There are still tons of room deals and what the archetects have done here will blow your mind!!!!!!!! Everyone should see it.
  5. Headed to both places after dinner when the sun is not touching the Earth here. Thanks for the suggestions!
  6. Welcome! You are smack dab in the middle of some GREAT shops. From the south headed north ( please chime in as I know I will forget some) Garretts Premium Aquarium,Upscales,Rose City,Seahorse,Fantaseas,Davy Jones locker,West Side, Oceans in a box and a few others that are not sponsors here on the forum. Enjoy
  7. Is Vegas really "that fun"? Or am I just hooked on Forums? I'm here for a week and after 2nd degree white boy from Oregon sunburns, blowing my wadd on shows and food (yes food, its not cheap dinning here) and avoiding the 110 degree heat walking around I have found myself cooped up, above the pool listning to the faint bass notes, lurking around the forums ,craigslists and ebay. Thought about taking a cab to the LFS's here, but not wanting to spend $80 in cab fare. Thought about renting a car and driving myself around to lFS's, but traffic here sucks. Its only after you are on vacation that you truely appreciate home. Taken from the room. Cesars does have a couple of really awsome tanks. A 1,000 gallon cyclinder Seahorse tank with 60 to 80 horses ranging from 2" to 8" and several species. A 10,000 gallon monster 3/4 cylinder style with mostly Rays, Tangs and Angels that is just mezmorizing!
  8. sticking my nose in Eric, A very well executed response. It is very tough these days to communicate effectively through email, texting and posts without the initial statement being taken off key or jaded. Without the human voice and its melody of influctuations throughout a conversation you can only now rely on one sense and how you interpret what you read. Not trying to redirect the thread, but at times I have offen wondered what direction you are going with your inquiries and sometimes directness or lack of cybertron couth. I'm no where from perfect, but thought you deserved a "electronic pat on the back" for the above mentioned.
  9. There are several self leveling concrete applications that will bond to existing surfaces. Look for a concrete tool and stamping supply company in your area. Most products provide a strong 1/4 to 3/8 thick layer bonded mechanically and chemicaly to the existing surface.
  10. 1. Didn't you and I have the opportunity to recommend for election a different person duing the 2 week long thread? 2. Are we basing someones reef experience by their start date here as a member? Not initiating an argument, just setting a level playing field.
  11. Nnewhouse is a proffessional percusionist! He would be the leading expert on drums and aquariums. Hey Nick, now you need that 3rd tank in your drum room..hahhaha
  12. Just an idea....try listing it on some freshwater forums in the NW. Don't those guys run canisters( that would fit in that cabinet) and not big sumps? Its lightweight, looks great and would house a canister just fine......ohhh mabey a FOWLR for someone here. Ok free bump ..lol
  13. Ill take the quiet one pump...add it to my salt purchase and will square up when I get back to town. Bump for the rest of the good deals!
  14. What!? You don't have a drum set? They made me purchase one before becomming a member. I thought it was weird also. Can I return mine and still keep my tanks?
  15. I can't find how they have overcome crankshaft lubrication? Great idea, but all leading off road motorcycle manufacturers have had their 2 strokes banned in california for several years due to the dirty emissions they produce. Back to the high performance 4 stroke drawing board. Mabey Gates is looking for a Nobel Peace prize for comming up with an idea, but it doesn't deliver, oh wait....Obama just did that with Health care! LMAO
  16. It makes me nervous that you googled those images :[
  17. He's already got one.....Sausage Fest and the logo is going to say " buisness is UP " lol
  18. Trade him your supra! He used to have a white turbo model and spotted yours..
  19. I can also deliver to Washington,Idaho,Oregon and California...it hauls my motorcycle too!
  20. Springfield, but there is always a way to get it to you.
  21. I have also had a ton of VW's including cabby's. The first time I bought one was with the top down. Never riding in one prior I had no idea my head would hit the top with the roof up! After pulling the seats and chopping those 3 legs, it made a huge difference! Pick up a copy of Hot VW mag and VW trends, you should find some sources for parts there.
  22. If you think you have seen this truck before, you have. It was parked next to Garrets parents house and was handed down in his family from Grandfather through Dad and to him. It had sat with expired tags for 9 years when I bought it. Its a 1970 F250 3/4 ton camper special with the Sport Custom trim package. Originally had a 360 ci engine that was removed 40k ago and rebuilt to 390 spec's. It now has a rebuilt 4 barrel carb (better mpg than the huge 2 barrel if you keep your foot out of it),dual exhaust. A/C, cruise control (not hooked up) and an Automatic that was not only just serviced but a new internal band installed. Powersteering works great and newer tires just installed make it drive smooth. The interior is a throw back in time. Its classic painted dash is nearly perfect and the dash pad and seat covers are a nice addition. New LesSchwabb battery all tune up parts are new and it has been converted to electronic ignition. The truck is rust free and super straight. The bed is in amazing shape! It has a camper rear bumper that slides out. The paint has been buffed, polished and waxed and is ready to cruise the local car shows. Its been a 2nd truck for us (5th vehicle) and as excited I was to get it running after so many years, I really don't need it as much as I want it and am looking to re-home it to someone that appreciates classic steele. Its offered for $2995 and shouldn't last long.
