  1. You are on the right track imo..loose the remora (put it up on RC, I've had a few and they are junk). Drill...drill...drill for sure. Trade the light to R3. I have found lots of random flow to work the best in a FOWLR. Keep the rock away from the rear glass as it will allow better flow from behind. Have you thought about a closed loop? An mp10es if you can swing it or 2 koralia #2's with a big return should be the least amount you would want. +1 on having a bigger overflow than return or drill somewhere else for a 2nd. I run a large reactor full of nitrate rubble in the sump along with kalurpa ( macro algea) and filled 1/3 of it with live rubble and a pc light. I have about 125lbs of large live rock in the 90g display fowlr and a giant skimmer. I have several large ,happy, hungry fish and low nitrate,no algea issues. Just my 2 cents
  2. Thanks for the dry goods and cleaner shrimp! Always woth the drive from Eugene!
  3. You still comming over to get enough RODI water to fill that 90G tonight?
  4. I have the same skimmer and when use with an ATO it works perfect ( no adjusting) mine is hung on the back of my sump. Like he says, it pulls out some serious goo. Bump for a GREAT skimmer.
  5. Great store! He has a great fish selection and an AMAZING Naso tang for $55.00!!! I tried to get some pics with my crappy phone camera, but no bueno. The Acan prices are worth driving down from PDX.
  6. PM me anytime with questions you have. Be prepared to feed them twice a day or wein them to once a day, but they MUST be fed everyday. I have a Seahorse sitter on retainer.
  7. Prices not only required, but would help. I would be interested in a couple things, but depending on the condition and price......?
  8. Bump for the mix bag of snails and hermits! Thanks for the shizzy.
  9. Pm Nnewhouse..he has a 72 bow that I think he is getting rid of.
  10. Clay and I just left (10:30pm) ....where else can you go spend a couple hundred bucks at a fish place after dinner?
  11. Same phone # 541 344 fish. Aaron is the owner of " The Nautilus" and he has many years of pond and freshwater fish. His employee, Jay, used to work at Liquid Sunshine and shares a ton of saltwater history. They are at 727 main st. And now open 7 days a week. Weekdays until 630. They are a great team and are willing to find what you need. Its like Upscales meets Rose city meets Garrets. Hope that helps!
  12. I'm changing some fish in my 90g FOWLR and I will be selectively adopting a few out to good homes. This guy is 3 inches tip to yellow tail. Has a brilliant mazed pattern and loves food! Ignore the fat belly, he's a little shy if you stare at it. LOL! The first $20 takes him if you help me catch him.

  14. Garret had a powder brown/ naso spliced fish that was AWSOME!!!!
  15. I think its the one from the Albertsons on River Road in Eugene. The Neptune (Aaron) has the one from the Mohawk store. I've been watching it on CL for about 4 months and waiting for the price to drop to nearly what he paid for it ($50) !!! then I'll be your Reef buddy...
  16. I will bring some kalerpa (spelling?) When I come see you.
  17. Have you considered talking with some custome home builders/designers in your area? Home theater companies, Customer kitchen and cabinet makers? These high end craftsman may have a better gauge on the home owner that is spending the dollars you are after.
  18. Ship it U.P.S. 2nd day, insure it for more than double.
  19. Wash with soap, rinse thoroughly with warm water. For my hands I do the same
