If you are asking for a small quantity of the larger syringes, like 5cc or so most pharmacies will sell to you as the IV drug users generally use the small insulin syringes that only measure up to 1cc. They definitely should sell them to you if you tell them that you dont even need the needle, just the syringe body to accurately measure something. If you get desperate and cant find any, let me know and I'll get you some from my pharmacy...you'll have to drive up here to get them though :(

I run a 57w and a 40w aqua uv on my two tanks but I'm not really sure they do anything. The only fish that has ever showed ich is my achilles tang but it went away fairly quickly, so it might be doing something. When I setup the new tank I am going to re-plumb my system and use these on my piping to my uv so I know exactly how much flow is running to it. I think I am going to put one on my chiller/heater and skimmer also. http://www.blue-white.com/Products/VariableArea/F-300/pitot_productpage.asp If you do decide to run UV, i recommend the aqua UV or the emporor aquatics units, both solid performers. Yep, unfortunately a known problem with the Aquacontrollers. I have gone thru 1 this year. Another reason to put safety coding in your program to protect against a bad probe.

I use the eheim digital auto feeder and it works great, but the super feeder looks cool and can be controlled.

Yah... might be overkill but that is how I roll in this hobby! I was lucky enough to stumble upon the two fireplugs off of steves old tank and picked them up for a steal at $65 I think for the pair! (Thank you Patrick!) The last time I saw these sell used they were going for 1-200 each!

If you can find any of the 1000w fireplug heaters they are rock solid. I have 2 that I got off from SWF when Steve Weast broke down his huge tank. He had them on that for years and 1 is still going strong on my tank (other for backup just in case).

I "ball light" per say and just add alk, calcium, and mag thru dosing with litermeter pumps. By far the easiest way to keep stable parameters IMO. Those profilux dosers look great and have a great reputation for being a quality product!
