  1. Dang! Sorry I missed that. I still recall when Saltwater Fantasea (at the time) had a couple of his cold water tanks in the shop - he had some awesome box fish in there. Did you happen to come by Jon?
  2. Thanks Bert! Killer write up and photos as always. Don’t know how you managed it in that crowd though - it was wall to wall reefers all afternoon. That took s crazy amount of organizing by Kim @Emerald525, Jeff @CuttleFishandCoral, Scott @spectra, and all the rest of the crew. Thanks again to everyone who chipped in to pull off an amazing meeting. That might be hard to top but don’t worry... we will be trying again on May 12th at Golden Basket and will give it our best shot!
  3. What are you thinking about for lens on the LEDs? Any idea what the dispersion/coverage footprint will look like? Really excited to see thee up and running!
  4. If you have some idea of what you are looking for in trade that helps. People will typically chime in with what they have to offer as well so it isn’t absolutely necessary. If someone is interested but doesn’t have anything for trade they may also ask if you are willing to sell instead. Just a heads up.
  5. No kidding! Last time I was in there I couldn't believe how many Jack O lantern frags there were - that is one happy lepto!
  6. Sorry to hear that Vance - was really looking forward to seeing your setup come together but I know sometimes it just doesn't work out. Hopefully we see you back sometime in the future. GLWS.
  7. Well that is turning into a pleasant surprise! Nice to get a good hitchhiker once in a while.
  8. Looking good Brian. Guessing you set some of that 3500 aside for a new fishroom 😁
  9. Looking really sharp Brian! I should just have you come over and reorganize my setup for me😁
  10. Probably making Jorge do it instead 👀
  11. I was wondering what was up with that 😁
  12. Hey Kim - I will take frag c of the favia please! Always been one of my favorites.
  13. Good luck with the move/reboot! Seems like we all end up losing focus once in a while but it is nice when you get re-energized and dive back in full throttle.
  14. As Huntero said above - patience is key as (usually) nothing good happens fast in this hobby. You can learn a lot by just reading through various threads on the forum that peak your interest - there are a lot of really experienced and successful reef keepers that hang out here so you should definitely take advantage. It is a good idea to have thought through what kind of livestock you want to have as some fish and coral combos may not work well together and the type of coral you decide to keep will impact equipment and maintenance paradigms so best to know where you think you might be headed before hand. That said, most reefers end up changing their minds fairly often Good luck and enjoy the journey!
  15. Would definitely be good to get any Vancouver stores hooked up on here since we have so many members on that side of the river.
  16. Haha - guessing the nem definitely had some serious regrets about that! Urchin just got a little surface cleaning
  17. Like who lost the most polyps the quickest? Sounds like my kind of competition!
  18. Nice! Tank looks sweet - of course 👍
  19. I seem to recall you having a bit of a “rose thumb” yourself.
  20. Looking good! Glad to hear your coral are happy. Those rock flowers seem to be doing well - good to know that Holly or I managed to get some out of the tank safely 👍
  21. I like how this has become the standard one word answer to any “looking for a tank” post.
  22. Yeah - somehow missed the 8 cubes a day post! Love the Naso tangs - seem to be relatively mellow for a large fish as well. Keep us posted.
  23. Yeah - that is a beauty!
  24. How did I miss this? Nice score for someone.
