  1. Yikes - glad you caught it quickly!
  2. Haha - wrong kind meetings Brandon.... sorry about that 😐
  3. I like the barn door slider idea - good luck!
  4. I know right! Makes me feel kind of inadequate in my control layout.
  5. Added some sacrificial lambs so to speak. Figures they took out the most expensive piece first.... even worms have goo taste I guess. Sorry man πŸ™
  6. Sorry I don’t have any great advice to give you Taylor but hoping you pull as many through as possible - I know you accumulated a pretty nice collection before the AEFW hit. Good luck!
  7. Congrats all! Looking like another excellent team for this coming year.
  8. Somehow I always take pdxmonkeyboy's comments personally... sorry for the intrusion. ✌️ That said... nothing really beats a radium and this light would be killer for a frag tank.

Ahh... so you are bringing some to NW Fragfest version 2.-0? http://nwfragfest.com All the more reason to make it there this year!
  10. Well, I have a couple of 400W sitting in my basement already so...
  11. I also had one in my previous system for quite a while (mixed reef) without any problems... really nice fish.
  12. Actually, I think it was that post you made last week saying how much you loved that Apex - couldn't handle that adoration. No, you are more likely correct that you jinxed it by commenting on how well everything is going. That is usually when I start waiting for the other shoe to drop. Live and learn my friend!
  13. Welcome! You are indeed lucky since, as Emerald notes, there is a group of very experienced and successful reef keepers pretty close to you. Lots of great advice and tips here in the forum including quite a few people who have maintained small tanks. Good luck getting things off the ground - maybe start a build thread when you are ready.
  14. Things are looking great Brandon! Still don't know where you are finding room for everything - you are going to be in trouble when it all starts to take off! Of course, those are the kind of problems we all wish we had πŸ˜ƒ
  15. Not too bad of a drift. I definitely see a change as media gets depleted and I refill. Usually have to adjust my pH set point by about 0.1 to compensate.
  16. Hard to feel too sorry for you here Cody! Enjoy Belize!!!
  17. This was a lot of fun and super informative last year. Sid and his assistant (forgot the name, sorry) did a great job and it was pretty amazing to see a hands on health check on an adult wolf eel! The eel had been caught inadvertently and was awaiting permission for reintroduction, if I recall correctly, so was getting a a bit of "dusting and cleaning" in the meantime πŸ˜ƒGreat example of some of the important work done at the Hatfield. Really interested to see what the reorganization and expansion has accomplished.
  18. Was wondering where you have been! Sorry you missed the meeting (or at least in think you did) - was a lot of fun.
  19. Ugh - lost track of time. Maybe Brian will let me visit it.
  20. Nothing like being stuck in the middle with everyone else pointing fingers at each other. Appreciate the help Jeremy!
  21. Yeah - this is a great idea. I think some folk put it in their signature but that takes up some space.
  22. Cool. I think it worked... someone let me know πŸ˜ƒ
