I think there are two different things going on here. One is total post count - which impacts things like whether or not your post needs to be approved and whether or not you can post in the classified ads. Those limitations are in place to try and keep spamming down to a minimum (and it does work). The other is the "reputation" points which you accumulate when people react to your posts by liking them, finding them funny, etc. - reputation, as far as I know, does not affect any of the functions on the forum. Hope this helps.

Whoa... getting into some high-dollar specimens there Dodge! Definitely want to be careful introducing those. I know Daniel seems to have had good luck with the socialization boxes. Never tried one myself (not a lot of room) but seems like a great idea. Good luck with the Majestic Brian!

Thanks for the photo recap Bert - awesome work as always. I have no idea how you manage to pitch in and help setup, hook up members with killer frags, give super informative presentations and capture it all in photos at the same time. A man of many talents for sure! Just want to give you and Rudy a shout out for a really helpful discussion on SPS keeping. There were lots of gems of advice in there. Also to Roy for contributing lots of detailed tips on the thread - always great to get the lowdown straight from the pros. Another fantastic meeting and great hosting job by Rudy and his family - such a pleasure to have a chance to hang out and soak up some coral wisdom. Thanks to Sirena and Scott for delicious food and beverages and of course Emerald for putting it all together. Such a great crew!

Wow - that is some crazy PE. Hope it colors up nicely for you (not that it looks bad now). As far as wrasses, I have a green coris, melanarus, red possum, blue star leopard, mystery, red margin fairy and peacock flasher. Of those, the first five are all effective hunters and all seem to get along fine. I personally really like the look of the mystery and Jeff has been getting some great ones in lately. I also like the blue star quite a bit as it has a distinctive shape and behavior vs. the others. Hard to go wrong with either of those really.

Yes, this was really interesting - both regarding the intensity and period settings. Plan to try some of that out myself when I get a chance... obviously works well for Rudy!
