  1. Fine - rub it in Greg. I can’t even try to go to sleep until after midnight when it might cool down enough to not be sweating in bed.
  2. Wow... that was February? Where has the year gone...
  3. Bummer - you will be missed! Sounds like not a terrible option though with the weather we have been having... could use a nice cool ocean breeze about now 😓
  4. That is very generous of you. I am going to ping our Tanks for Teachers program leader here in case something comes up that they could use at one of the schools. @kknight
  5. That chalice is nice - good deal for someone.
  6. Well - he would be fine in my tank at this point since I don’t have any coral left anyway. Seriously though, seems like he might be a decent risk for someone interested in adding one since you at least have had a while to observe him in a reef environment. Whoever gets him might want to mimic your feeding pattern to be safe though.
  7. Well... he looks cool anyway. Glad something good (POTM) came out of that experience!
  8. This is an interesting one - will be curious to see what people come up with.
  9. Just a suggestion - you might want to update the original post to include the revised pricing... people might not be scrolling all the way through to notice this.
  10. Cool Brandon! Love the square box anthias pair.
  11. Congrats! Love the look of that little critter.
  12. Sorry to hear. Beautiful fish for sure. Glad you caught it quickly though.
  13. Interesting! The challenge for some might be how far down the water line is vs. the clip position - don't think it would get deep enough in my setup for instance. Not that that is any kind of determining factor. 🙂 Love all the ideas... who knew something so simple could be so difficult?
  14. Got you on the list. Did you have a preference for meter type?
  15. Hey shaywood - as far as ease of use, the handheld would probably be best as it is completely self contained. The USB meter requires you to download an application on your computer (free) in order to make use of it so it really depends on your comfort level with that concept. Hope that helps.
  16. Not sure we have had that question before (Miles?) but I don't see why not - it is all for fun (and, of course, the accolades and international recognition of going into the POM hall of fame).
  17. Hi Suncrest, We normally continue to have meetings during the summer and are currently in the process of trying to confirm a location for August so stay tuned. We will typically put up a new meeting thread with all the pertinent info (location, time, events, etc.) once things have been finalized. Hopefully we get something up for August here soon. Thank you for your interest!
  18. Oh man - another “old” cat story. Wish I knew the secret. Our various felines have passed away at 5, 7 (siblings), 11 and 13 years of age. And these were all indoor only cats! Probably just their contrary nature coming through 😁
  19. Thanks Scott - so true. At least in this case, all the effort was totally worth it - amazing little guy. Thanks Brian. Glad you have a cool feline companion as well. I think it will likely be a while before we try and “replace” him - truly a special creature.
  20. I think your tangs are just getting stronger - it's like a fish workout program.
  21. Thanks. Yeah, just about the time they finally get you trained you end up having to start all over. This one is going to be hard to recover from though.
  22. Thank you. Thanks Miles - he was awesome. Thanks Jeremy. I don’t usually talk a lot about these things but he was a very special guy and deserved a shout out.
  23. That is a bummer. Yeah, not sure what would have gone after them frim that list.
