Just a quick shout out to Bert - our grill master yesterday. If you didn't happen to make it to the meeting you missed some tasty burgers and dogs done to perfection by our very own VP @badxgillen. Thanks again for putting your cooking talents on display... my taste buds were quite happy.
Thanks to everyone who made the trip down despite the rather late announcement. It was good to catch up with folk and hear what people have been up to this summer. Sounds like a lot of you have been having some fun outdoors and traveling so glad you were able to take some time out to talk fish/coral for a bit.
Hope to see you all (and more) at our next meeting.
Wish I would have been in position to take advantage of this... lots of things I would have liked to have scored. Maybe by the time I get my "tank of death" sorted out you will have grown more π Looking forward to seeing you at the meeting regardless Andy!
See you all tomorrow! Looking forward to checking out the stock at ATA again - lots of great fish and coral last time the club was down there so am guessing more of the same this time around. Plus raffle items and some tasty BBQ of course!
I had a large one in my old tank that a clown decided to adopt as a host - it was a "fuzzy" one though. In fact, I think the unrecognizable image in my avatar is a pic of that! Good luck finding a good home for that giant.
These are always popular and I have been interested in trying one myself. Also wonder if mixing in some of the icecap models wouldn't be a bad idea at some point.
Sorry I missed this! Glad to hear Chris @Sharklover and Shawn @DarkAngel were able to step in and help out. First one of these I have missed in a while π
Nice! Good luck with the focus stack - we use a variation of this technology a lot in high resolution imaging for research purposes and you can get some amazing results. Will be curious what you can achieve with some consumer level algorithms and technology.
