I had one decide to take up residence in a large mushroom once (check my profile pic). Wouldn't think that is a reliable choice though 😃 Euphyilia sounds like a good option and there are often some decent sized colonies for sale on here. Seahorse also had a ton of them when I was in there last weekend.
Too bad I haven't gotten my tank crash sorted out, I see lots of stuff on these lists that would be great to have. Moot point anyway since I will have to miss this one but hopefully some folk are able to score some good trades this weekend!
Those are always the best! Bummed that I will miss this one since we will be out of town. Always love stopping in to check on the tanks when we are down on Mississippi but have never seen the basement setup that runs it all.
Off topic (sorry Ron) but did you really disinvest from the business? Will need to catch up on the story behind that some time..
Now - back to what an awesome tank this is (really) and how someone on here needs to buy it!
This is pretty cool stuff. Have to think that living in such cold temperatures/low metabolism contributes to the long life span of these creatures in some way.
Nice feedback - thanks! Need someone to come up with a slick add on for a refugium. Seems like the ATO may be less of an issue since so many folk direct plumb those in these days.
Congrats! Hopefully the next one works out. If it does, hang onto it so you can rent it out the the rest of the club as needed - could be worth it's weight in gold!
Great info Jay! I was around somewhat for that first launch but just as a member then disappeared for 7 years or so after a bad crash (seems to be a pattern). Missed the drama of “the big site crash” that took us offline for a bit.
