  1. So you're giving them away then? I'll take some! j/k Very nice! Sorry - don't have a probe/controller laying around but good luck with the search.
  2. Congrats! By comparison, 20 mls min was way higher than our standard lab applications.
  3. I think you pretty much nailed it here. Only caveat I can see is that Jorge may decide to go back down to a smaller tank - he seems to bounce back and forth vs always getting bigger. Subtle difference though πŸ˜„
  4. Salt creep - natures sealant. Or at least lazy reefer's sealant πŸ‘ (works for me BTW)
  5. Hey Jorge - I'm thinking you might want to start up a sale thread for this build... got to keep up with Randall somehow @PowderBlue
  6. Haha... I don't know, kind of neck and neck at this point.
  7. Wait till you see the food bill! Seals don't come cheap you know...
  8. Dang Randall, that didn’t stick around for long. GLWS.
  9. Here we go again... I remember being super jealous of your build a few years ago when I first got back on the forum. You always had the best of the best. Personally, I think it isn't really about having a tank anymore, it's just torturing the rest of us on here with all the killer gear. That's my theory anyway πŸ˜„
  10. You forgot to use your burner account there Jorge...
  11. Looking good! I'm intrigued by the overflow design. Too bad the original sump didn't work out... looks like you put some time into it. Hate when you forget to measure something before building a stand (skimmer height comes to mind 😞)
  12. Looking good! The frag disk feet are a nice addition.
  13. I see you have a nice radiant wrasse in there... one of my favs.
  14. Bummer - not an inexpensive specimen. I love all the wrasses but they do like to jump and seem to have an innate ability to find the smallest of openings in any lid/canopy.
  15. Well I just lost two in the last month so good timing Chris! Will try and make it over there.
  16. I applaude the effort Jeremy! I can't help thinking that the tubing itself may have contributed to the issue. If I recall correctly, our peristaltic pumps all had specialized tubing that was considerably more pliable than tygon for use in the head itself - we used tygon etc. to extend the runs from there but the "business" part of the tubing was of different composition (and expensive). I want to say possibly silicon or some other synthetic. Of course, this also probably contributed to it's fail rate but I think it was the only way to get consistent flow from those units - especially at low flow. I would try and research but short on time right now...
  17. Sounds like Jeff might have some more pieces of it. Definitely nice looking.
  18. Very cool. Something else to add to my wish list 😍
  19. Looking great Carla! What is that one in the last pic?
  20. That is looking pretty trick. Can’t wait to find out what kind of flow rates you can get out of it.
  21. Well - I will believe that when I see it - no offense. I recognize another gear junkie when is see one πŸ˜€
