  1. Thanks - I will try that out when I get to a desktop.
  2. Well - if I took it I would need the sump but I just saw my cc bill for last month... no frag tank for me 🙁 Would make a nice setup though for sure.
  3. Thanks for doing the leg work Suncrest.... now I have to figure out how to add them 🤔
  4. Nice thing about these egg-crate style racks is that provide a lot of flexibility for frag spacing. Some of the other racks make it hard to fully utilize the footprint.
  5. Thanks Brain. I think this touches a bit on the more pragmatic discussion we had around SPS keeping at Golden Basket during a meeting a while back. During that conversation, Rudy made a point about ratios (blue/white) and time (I think he ran at least 12 hours on). Wish we could have captured the info from that conversation in some way as I think it probably was highly related to the more technical pieces you are touching on here.
  6. That would be cool Bret - haven't done one of those for a while and would be hard to beat that title.
  7. Sorry to hear you are having to part with this Ron. GLWS
  8. I like the contents of that frag rack!
  9. Catchy! Nice looking chalice for sure.
  10. Too funny! Welcome back (again) Randall I refuse to put down any money on this... too unpredictable😀
  11. Looks like we might be back at CnC - figured you might be able to find your way there. Stay tuned for updates once things are nailed down. Bert's working on it...
  12. Yeah - I remember you from my first go with the club. Always sad to see one of our long-time members have to pack it in. Having said that, we have probably all been through it at least once before so I'm sure you will come back strong once things settle down for you. I would be hard pressed to give up that chalice for sure... feel your pain.
  13. Wow - sorry to see you go but good luck with everything. Some dimensions on that tank might be helpful. That Oregon mummy eye is amazing!
  14. Glad you were able to stop by and hopefully we see you at another meeting soon.
  15. Welcome! Looks like you have a nice established tank going. There are a few members closer to your area. As Miles alluded to, we just launched a member map app that (for now) is accessible to our paid members which provides the opportunity to add your location (as detailed as you might want) and see where other members of the club are. There are a few folk along the I5 corridor for sure. I'm sure you might see a couple of them chime in here when they notice your post. We do try to have a meeting up that way at least once a year so keep an eye out for the meeting threads in case there is one you might be able to make. It's a good way to meet some fellow reefers, exchange tips and sometimes swap or buy frags (see yesterday's meeting thread for instance). Hope you find some helpful info.
  16. Personally I have had luck with both blue jaw and niger triggers. The red tail is quite beautiful though.
  17. Looking good! Getting a really nice collection together there. That Red Dragon has definitely filled in quite a bit.
  18. I could tell Jaggy was excited by the possibility that someone might foolishly stick their hand in the tank. Other than that, hard to say.
  19. The family one is if you have multiple people wanting to participate as paid members. Their profiles will be identified as supporting members and they will have the same perks such as free member raffle tickets, access to club loaners (par meter) and to member only parts of the forum. Hope this helps.
  20. Great time today at Brian’s. As expected, his DT looked awesome with a great collection of acros, zoas, acans, clams etc. as well as a sweet selection of tangs! As Holly mentioned there was also a beautiful assortment of African cichlids on display. Lots of quality time spent in the downstairs equipment/frag/qt room talking all things reef and selling frags for TFT. A special shout out to some super generous folk who donated so many nice pieces for the event - Bert @badxgillen, Jeremy @Jeremevans, Jim @Gumby and a few others I’m missing. Also a huge thank you to Brian @pdxmonkeyboy for being such a generous and accommodating host. All in all a really fun time and a success for TFT. Thanks everyone!
  21. Sounds like there should be quite a few interesting things there tomorrow!
  22. I would say yes, yes and (unfortunately) yes. Not sure if anyone turned you on to aphasia X but might be worth picking some up to stay ahead of the game. Alternatively, you could pull that piece of rock out and burn it off. Peppermint shrimp will also eat them if you are to the point you could have them. Just tossing out some options...
  23. The open ones up front look like eagle eyes to me - at least they look like the ones in my tank 🙂
