  1. Hey Crabby - thanks for the offer, very kind. It's OK though... I can always wait for Bill to break off some more down the road. Probably would either have to pick up today or next weekend anyway.
  2. The trick would be figuring out how to light the tank but eliminate the reflections. Definitely a neat angle.
  3. Well - guess I should have been watching the forum closer yesterday 😞 Keep me in mind Bill if you happen to snap off any more pieces of that 👍
  4. Awesome shots and recap Bert! I think I saw Bob, Alterego, one time PNWMAS VP in one of those shots - great to see so many folks show up for this event. I think Jeff was explaining his Corona dosing technique in that one shot...
  5. Looks pretty darn good! What phone are you using Bret?
  6. Sooo cute! Congrats on the new family addition (even if the bro gets primary custody)! Will have to meet her some day.
  7. Welcome! There are several members that post here from Washington so good to see another person from up north find there way to the site. Hope to see at build thread from you when you get a chance - I like what I see from those new waterbox tanks so far!
  8. Welcome! I’m sure you will find lots of experienced reefers on here to help answer questions. Like any of us who love SPS patience is key - that and not getting too disappointed when things go wrong because they will, even for the most successful reefkeepers. Oh yeah, and like monkey boy says - don’t get too attached to your money if you love SPS 😁
  9. Haha - you were thinking Taylor Hardy. Glad you got ahold of him and he was able to give you some help. Sorry... back to the thread 😁
  10. And we are all glad you do stick around- besides, you know you will have another tank eventually, just a matter of when 😁 Great party supporting a great cause organized by great people at at great store - hard to beat that! Thanks to all who chipped in to make it work. I noticed a few familiar faces in those pics...
  11. Nice find! Glad you found something that should work for you.
  12. Uh-oh. Sounds like a bad experience was had...
  13. Ever consider a reactor? Less programability in some ways (although you can control pH and flow) but often the choice for higher demand systems - I think Brian just switched over recently. Of course, it wouldn't provide the same type of integration with the Trident 😞
  14. That would work! I can PM you to setup a time. Just got back into town.
  15. Hey John - I wouldn’t mind having it although that defeats the meeting someone new part of it. No worries if you want to leave it for another. Interestingly, I had two Red Sea Pro kits come from BRS with the same issue - both of which they replaced. Seems like one or more of the reagent lids didn’t stay sealed and leaked all over the kit. Eat the plastic on the lids for the rest vials.
  16. These have been a lot of fun in the past and I’m sure will be again this year. Six is indeed a great host. The experience of seeing a wolf eel up close and personal was a favorite of mine from previous meetings there.
  17. Oh yeah - I was wondering about the porthole as well.
  18. I saw one of them today as well! Pretty spectacular but a little annoyed with the tank maintenance
  19. Oh man... I want to bring her home! Sooo cute!
