  1. These guys should be paying you considering the amount of tech and educational work you do for them. I'm afraid to ask why you know about needing a backup 🤗
  2. Ouch! That is a pretty bad failure rate - you would have hoped they would at least offer rush shipping after going through it twice already.
  3. Glad he reappeared! I'm used to that kind of behavior with wrasses but the tangs will also occasionally decide on a "time out" as well.
  4. You have to let me know when you have her over at your house so I can come and meet her... too cute!
  5. Pretty cool. I honestly didn't know that "neotropical" was a thing. Kind of amazing that we are still finding new species although that area of the world is still relatively under-explored.
  6. Welcome! Glad you found some time to introduce yourself and your tanks on here. Looks like you are off to a good start. I also noticed all the nice shelf pieces - will look great with colonies growing on those!
  7. Hey - I tried to get Kim and Holly back on board but I don't think they have recovered from their last run 😀
  8. Another great write up in the continuing saga of PNWMAS! I love these so much. It's funny, you get so wrapped up in the meeting, raffles, coral etc. that I often don't even see who all was there until Bert does his write up. Totally missed Jay @Chief somehow. Thanks again to our TPA hosts and all of you who came out for this one.
  9. Sooo sad I missed this and the opportunity to get introduced to such an amazing creature up close. Thanks for sharing Bert - awesome pics and commentary as always. So happy you captured this for us.
  10. Glad you are back with us this year - looks to be a fun and productive group for sure.
  11. Hey Cody - good to hear from you. Hope the crazy part is fun and not stressful and married life is treating you well.

  13. If only they eat vermetid snails I could put them to work!
  14. Jon was the last one I can recall actively raising clutches but not sure if he is still doing that @chewie
  15. Nice! My large turbos (2.5 - 3 inches) tend to be wrecking balls... They are, however, tough!
  16. One of our favorite areas at the coast! Did you make it to local ocean this time?
  17. Wow! Some really large specimens in there. The unicorn tang really stood out. How big is that tank anyway? Thanks for sharing!
  18. Bummed to have missed this but glad some got to.interact with the octopus- very cool. Thanks to Sid for graciously hosting us yet again. Big thanks to Bert @badxgillen for repping the officers and BOD (thought Greg was going to make it).
  19. Well... hosting out of town in-laws this weekend so looks like I will miss this one. Bummed to not get to see what Sid has in store but I'm sure it will be a treat. Have fun everyone!
  20. That came out great. Congrats on the new setup.
  21. You have cats? That is always my first guess when mysterious things happen while I'm gone.
  22. Thanks for sharing Greg - really cool stuff. I looked like they had some pretty nice colonies in that reef display. I never fail to be creeped out by those sunfish though...
  23. Indeed - those were delicious! I'm sure there will be something tasty on the grill none the less.
