  1. Just looping in our admins in case they have any insight into this. @TheClark @Chief
  2. I knew I could count on you for just the right gift! At least its something I might be able to grow 😞
  3. Just in case anyone is wondering what to get me for xmas... You know, never mind, get me three ReeFi lights instead 😁
  4. That looks sharp Daniel! Are those your own design? I lost track of where you were at with mounting options - are those adjustable in the horizontal direction to help center over the tank? Seems like a nice alternative to a tank or ceiling mount setup.
  5. I want to know who is going to be first to put up one of those isopod wall charts in their house? Can go next to the zoanthid and/or clown posters....
  6. This is an interesting idea. I recall seeing some mini skylight "tube" designs that could work for that if you had a clear path to the roof.
  7. Yes πŸ€— Actually, I think it would look cool for the reasons you suggest but not sure it’s practical. Then again, who thought keeping a miniature reef in your living room was practical.
  8. Yeah, I did find that odd. You are probably all run underground too so not likely a random pole hit.
  9. Nice to know it all works as hoped! Glad you didn't have any hiccups with the setup. Probably good that it happened while you were there the first time so now you can feel more confident when you are away.
  10. Welcome! Nice work on the stand - not a simple thing to make with the curved front... will be curious to see how the doors turned out. Good luck getting it wet and cycling. Hope you post some updates as you get things going.

Awesome collection Jim - thanks for sharing!
  12. Looking sharp Jeff! I think you made a good call on that stand - blends in really well with the woodwork on the fireplace mantel. Can't wait to see it up and running!
  13. Good to know you are still out there man!
  14. Nice of you to help out. Looks like you have the right person already engaged in the discussion!
  15. This is an interesting one. I bet John @SuncrestReef has some good examples!
  16. Sounds like fun Bret... not sure how sane reef keeping is though 😁 Regardless, who can resist candy and clowns (of the fish variety at least).
  17. We need some more Pod fans on here... my wrasses are getting hungry 😁
  18. Nice job John. Cool that you got to do a walk through on the tank for those not lucky enough to check out all the automation in person. Things are looking good!
  19. Interesting that this bacterium becomes parasitic in high nutrient conditions where resources aren’t in theory limiting. Will have to read this study when I get a chance. Thanks for keeping us updated Eli!
  20. Good luck! Randall (PowderBlue) had an awesome 60 gallon SPS heavy lagoon setup a few years ago that was one of my favorite tanks. I think it was a bit deeper but similar dimensions. Might check out his old tank thread for inspiration.
  21. That is a beauty! Love the pattern.
  22. Yeah - I was impressed with how much SPS growth he had when we were down there for the meeting. Those "frag" tanks were overflowing.
  23. Hi Holly - I could always use the carbon if it's still around. Shutting down the QT setups?
  24. Share some pods 😁 I have lots of hungry wrasses to feed...
