That looks sharp Daniel! Are those your own design? I lost track of where you were at with mounting options - are those adjustable in the horizontal direction to help center over the tank? Seems like a nice alternative to a tank or ceiling mount setup.
Yes π€
Actually, I think it would look cool for the reasons you suggest but not sure itβs practical. Then again, who thought keeping a miniature reef in your living room was practical.
Nice to know it all works as hoped! Glad you didn't have any hiccups with the setup. Probably good that it happened while you were there the first time so now you can feel more confident when you are away.
Welcome! Nice work on the stand - not a simple thing to make with the curved front... will be curious to see how the doors turned out. Good luck getting it wet and cycling. Hope you post some updates as you get things going.
Looking sharp Jeff! I think you made a good call on that stand - blends in really well with the woodwork on the fireplace mantel. Can't wait to see it up and running!
Nice job John. Cool that you got to do a walk through on the tank for those not lucky enough to check out all the automation in person. Things are looking good!
Interesting that this bacterium becomes parasitic in high nutrient conditions where resources arenβt in theory limiting. Will have to read this study when I get a chance. Thanks for keeping us updated Eli!
Good luck! Randall (PowderBlue) had an awesome 60 gallon SPS heavy lagoon setup a few years ago that was one of my favorite tanks. I think it was a bit deeper but similar dimensions. Might check out his old tank thread for inspiration.
