  1. Local Ocran is awesome - glad you found that per Sid's recommendation. We almost always stop in when we are there but can get really busy!
  2. Thanks for the excellent recap and photos Bert - almost as much fun as being there! Fantastic job by Sid and Mallory sowing us the ropes and answering lots and lots of questions. Really interesting and enlightening. It's one thing to read about such procedures but a whole other level to see them and take part. Thanks HMSC folk! Also a big shout out to Sirena and Kim for taking care of us with food and prizes. Greatly appreciate all the work you guys put into the club. Fortunately we left the facility intact after our BBQ- looked a bit dicey for a while as Kim got the grilled "fired" up in no uncertain terms. Now we know why Sirena prefers to cook over gas! ?
  3. Wait a second! Did you just throw shade at Raiders fans!!! Well, I guess we sort of deserve it after so many years of futility. But hey - we are back baby!!!
  4. And if you need added incentive... the weather is stunningly beautiful! Sunny, no clouds and should hit 70. Plus, if you stop at Cape Foulweather you might even see a whale! They were there yesterday afternoon anyway ?
  5. Haha! Would love a 21 window bus myself. Had a couple "newer Westies - a 74 and 82... last of the air cooled. Also had a 2001 Passat 1.8T. Drove great but man, the parts were junk. Three air pumps, three MAF meters, rear calipers and heater core all under 4years and 70K. Oh... and none of these were diesel - sorry Kim. Just another thread jack. ?
  6. Well, now I know who doesn't like VWs for one thing ?
  7. You would do this to me while I'm in Newport of course! Can't believe that plate is still there (unless it's another one).
  8. Hi Frank and Daniel - not sure if you saw the pinned post on this in the out of bounds forum but worth checking out.
  9. Hello all, Given the amount of comments we are seeing re issues using the Tapatalk interface with the PNWMAS site, we thought it was worth putting up a notice which we can update once there is a status change. Our admin team is aware of the multiple ongoing issues users are experiencing with Tapatalk and are watching for revised plugins for our forum software (IPB) to address these. As of 7/19, there was none available but they will continue to keep an eye on this situation and we can update here once a fix is applied. In the meantime, I would encourage those who haven't to explore the new mobile version of the site as it is generally considered to be quite useable and picture posting is now pretty straightforward. Sorry for any inconvenience. Update (7/25): Due to ongoing issues with various forums (not just ours) Tapatalk released a beta plugin revision that our admin team tested out. Unfortunately, it still does not appear to function properly so we will have to continue without reliable Tapatalk integration for at least a while longer. The team will continue to monitor the situation and test any new revisions for functionality as they become available and updates will be poster here for easy reference. Sorry this isn't better news. Update (7/26): Good news all! Our admin team installed some additional new updates and report that Tapatalk now appears to be working as intended with our site. Please let us know, however, if you run into problems. (Hopefully not) Thank you for your patience in this matter and thanks to the admins for staying on top of the situation. Update (8/4): Additional plugin update and tweaks applied which may have solved some lingering login issues (see posts below). Thanks again to the admin team for continuing to plug away on this (sorry, couldn't resist) and thanks for the continued feedback and patience.
  10. Just an FYI. The admins are aware of this and keeping an eye out for a revised TapATalk plugin for the IPB platform to help resolve these issues. As of last night, there still wasn't one available. Sorry.
  11. Welcome! Looks like you have had a busy and productive 6 months! Glad to see things are going well for you and hope to see pics of your continued growth and expansion.
  12. Glad you snagged some of those! Yeah, that plate is pretty special. Good to see you on here man - hit me up if you make it back up North.
  13. Shoot - would normally be happy to give you a ride Burt but we were planning to go down on Friday and spend the night.
  14. Hi Andy - do you happen to have the case and/or calibration fluid for this?
  15. Welcome! You are of to a good start if you have found your way here already. Lots of experienced and helpful folk on here who should be able to provide lots of good advice. Just reading through the existing posts while you plan your tank can be extremely helpful. Good luck!
  16. Far be it for me to undermine others'willpower but these are particularly nice if you are considering one. Besides.. I could always "hold" it for you ?
  17. Haha! Totally forgot about that place... never been in there. Guess I'm not normally a big sticker kind of guy.
  18. Hi Frank - is this the plus series with the detachable scraping blade? I could probably use it regardless if Ron doesn't end up with it. Let me know... Thanks!
  19. I've seen some of the progeny of the @TheClark colony and they are super cool in person!
  20. Yeah - I could see all of these being valid as well as the car window. Trick is that some of these would be better reversed and others (like the skimmer) might need standard (i.e. sticky on different sides). Not sure how hard that would be to manage as I haven't messed with these before. Definitely like the idea though!
