  1. Would you mind mailing it up to me here in Salem. Or if your up here anytime soon that would work too. I will pay for your postage plus some for your efforts. If you are heading up, I will toss some frags your way in exchange. Thanks, Garrett
  2. I would think that a lawnmower blenny is a must. That or a similar blenny. Super fun fish to watch and they serve a purpose to boot. Garrett
  3. Thank you guys so much for the awesome deal! I love your place and you guys are awesome! Freakin coolest leather I have ever seen! Garrett
  4. If you ever make a trip down this way, I have literally hundreds of frags that I love trading for different stuff. Garrett
  5. I have a dual pfo ballast for $120 with the sockets and bulbs with about 6 months of life on them if this doesn't work out for you. Garrett
  6. Your theory is sound from what I gather. I would imagine you will see a cluster of eggs soon. Thats sweet stuff!!! Garrett
  7. LOL. I don't know. That really is a ton of light for that tank. I would probably have only run 1 70w and actinics max. I have to say I love it with two though!! How is your temp doing? Garrett
  8. WELCOME!!! (clap) Sounds like you have quite an exciting experience to come! We look forward to a tank thread with lots of pictures and progress discussion. Garrett
  9. I feel the same way! Thanks for the great deal today guys. Garrett
  10. I will take it. Sending you a pm. Garrett
  11. I think it is. This guy is really gambleing with his money on this one. There might be someone out there that is just crazy enough to buy it. I don't think it looks too much like a smiley face. I am not sure where he is getting a retail price of $80-$130 either. I think they retail around $20-$30 last I checked. Lol I think he lives in inflation town. Garrett
  12. I went ahead and purchased this starfish. I think it will be a great addtion to my gold line, starfire on four sides, self cleaning, 5,000g tank. From what the seller has told me, the star enjoys doing tricks for some treats. I am going to go buy a big bag of silversides and see if this is correct. Should be here in the morning. Garrett
  13. OMG I would freakin love to go. I really never thought about it too hard as I didn't really think that it could happen, but this year I might actually be able to convince the wife if she knows that alot of other locals are going as well. Hhmmm... I might just have to put some coin into this one. Maybe a good mini vacation is in the future. Garrett
  14. How is your clean up crew looking? Mostly your sand bed clean up crew? I know that I used to have algae problems and occasionally still do in a prop tank or two if I do not have a diverse and ample clean up crew. Garrett
  15. Excellent! You scared me just a tiny little bit. Onto the move!!! Garrett
  16. Seriously? Are you planning a move? Also, how are the snails and such doing in the tank? Garrett
  17. BTW the tank is looking amazing! I definately look forward to more pics. Can't wait to see the coral growth over time. Beautiful setup! Garrett
  18. From what I have heard, a 1" durso can't handle more than 800 gph. I have heard that 1.5" can handle roughly double that each, so you should be ok with just two. I personally haven't tested it per say, but I can definately put at least 1200gph through a 1.5" durso withough any problems. Garrett
  19. I get the feeling I know who you are talking about too. I have had great luck with mine thus far and I think I am on roughly 6 bulbs ordered since I started ordering from them. I have to say though, I get much better color and brightness out of my xm's though for the price difference I completely understand why you ordered through this guy. Heck I have done the same. I just dont order from him when I am really going for the display look, but for frag tanks and algaes, they work great! Get your money back and order from the other guy on ebay or buy from a local fish store after saving a few. Seem like something is wrong with the way this business is shipping. Otherwise there wouldn't be an issue. Oh and he probably sent you two different spectrums of bulbs. I have gotten a bulb or two that was mismarked and ended up being a defferent spectrum. Garrett
  20. You must either get a refund or get your product as purchased for the sake of keeping ebay and other online markets up to par with our local shops. It is your right to get what you paid for. Now I know that on ebay that is a really grey issue, but if this guy is running a store and selling brand new products, it would seem that he should definately get his shipping techniques figured out. I have shipped literally thousands of packages to buyers all over the world and I have less than a 1% damaged product rate and I am shipping live goods most of the time! If you have to, do a chargeback. I understand where he is coming from as a seller, but there is no reason that his shipments should be taking such damage. He is simply incorrectly packaging them and as a result will have to pay the price. Garrett
  21. Someone just got a killer deal. If you could USPS priority it, I would send you $15 via paypal. Its one day shipping and should only be like $6. Let me know. I understand if you dont want to ship. Garrett
