  1. Very rare clowns. They are only found on a small section of reef off of a single island in the great barrier reef. I cannot remember the name of the island, but I remember reading about them in a thread on reef central. I believe it was in the photography or scuba section. Very unique and rare clowns plus they look awesome. And no, in my opinion, $6k is not worth it but for someone who lives for breeding clowns like this, I could see that it might be well worth it for them. Garrett
  2. That wouldn't be a problem. Just let me know what you guys come up with. Thanks Ryan for checking to see if you can't drop them off. Garrett
  3. One more fish that needs a good home! He is one of the most healthy and good looking blue tangs that I have ever seen. He doesn't have that heavy pitting that most have on their heads as they mature. $50 Garrett
  4. Within the next couple of weeks for sure. I would like it sold by the end of the weekend, but you are welcome to pick it up anytime the week after. Thanks, Garrett
  5. Sounds like all the critters are loving their new home! I am glad to hear that. Its a relief to hear that the scopas and purple are doing so well togehter. The purple was never too aggressive to any of my other tangs, so I figured it would be alright. I am suprised the rose hasn't decided to continue slitting yet. I would bet pretty soon he will do so. Thanks for the kind words. Garrett
  6. bumpin it up with a price drop. I need these guys gone by the end of the weekend or shortly there after. Garrett
  7. Glad to hear that all is well guys. Thanks for the updates! Garrett
  8. Thanks Corey, Glad to hear it is doing well. I can't wait either lol!
  9. Greg, Yah I definately am. Its all just a matter of time and then secondly funds. Right now the wife and I are saving and getting ready to buy a house. We will be searching for a bit until we find the right place for us. Plus in this market, its all about timeing. We will see if I can make it to the house before I set something up. Garrett
  10. Awesome frag/growout system: Includes 4x 40g glass breeder tanks in great condition. All have bulkheads, drain filters, individual gate valves, and lockline returns. Comes with industrial metal shelving for a nice, clean, and convenient setup. You could plump it inline with your current system for both increased stability, and easy use, or your could run it seperate. You could even set up the system to have each tank serve a different purpose such as one for algae, one for fish, and a couple for propagation. --- whole setup for $300. I know... Killer deal right?... buy it! lol
  11. Shawn, Glad you could make it down and take some critters home with you. I know you left with more than you had planned, but hopefully everything rocks in your system. Thanks for giving the clowns a new home. I know they will love your anemone! Michael has a point... someone needs to get these fish! They rock! Added on of my frag systems to the list Garrett
  12. Greg, I am sorry to here that my friend. I was crossing my fingers that they would make it. Let me know how the rest does. My big display tank has officially landed at its new resting spot. After a long morning/afternoon of back breaking fun, we finally got the beast in question into the hands of the new owner. He promises pictures, so everyone stay tuned for dj_giantti's new system! Now for the tear down of the frag tanks... LOL For those interested, I still have the beautiful show hippo tang, two beautiful yellowtangs, and a really nice golden rabbit. Garrett
  13. Bob, That is probably the best thing to come of the whole day I would imagine lol. Just playing with you CA2OR(whistle) I knew you really where out there somewhere...(laugh) Garrett
  14. Yup, its a montipora digitata. I loved color on that one and it originally came from another reefer on the board. Garrett
  15. Gosh I hope it does. That extra day in transit certainly didn't help. I would probably cut off what parts are dead and see if you can't keep it alive. I would imagine it should recover nicely. The tank looks awesome! I love the clams! Thank you for grabbing these critters. I know it was kind of tough not knowing exactly what you were getting and having to worry about them in transit. I know I certainly worried a bit. Let me know how it goes with the yellow acro. Everything else seems to have traveled well. I love how they look in your tank! Garrett
  16. Ashley, I am glad you are happy with your critters! You and your mom are super cool and I enjoyed chatting with you! I look forward to pics. Garrett
  17. Unfortunately I really have been pretty cleaned out thanks to the addiction of all of these wonderful reefers! List being updated. Garrett
  18. He is just some guy who likes to couch hop from house to house, blurting out the occasional tid bit of wisdom to keep himself welcome.
  19. Jen the unkown sps you have is an elkhorn montipora. Looks very similar to digitata with a slightly different growth pattern at the top. Who knows? It may actually be a different morph of digitata, it was just sold to me as Elkhorn monti. Garrett
  20. Jen, It just sounded like your system was ready to give it a go at some sps. Let me know how it does over the next few days. Sounds like you have a really healthy system going. I look forward to the pictures! I was excited to see your man excited over the critters in the tanks aswell!! Thanks, Garrett
  21. Looks like an nice piece of pink encrusting monti. If it has a tissue like surface that feels pretty slimy or slick, then it is more than likely an echino, but if it is hard with small flower like polyps(sps) then I would definately have to go for my first choice. Garrett
