  1. Bump for a great deal! If you are interested in trade for some corals or something let me know. Garrett
  2. The mother colony that I have is doing great! Actually I think it is now stuck to the eggcrate and growing nicely. If I was in this competition I would kick all of your butts! lol (laugh) Garrett
  3. I vote Bruce Lee! Bruce Lee kicked Chucks booty in Chucks youger years. Jackie Chan was in Bruce Lee films aswell as one of the nameless martial artists. Chuck does get my second vote though just because I think his cult following is a close second to Bruces. Jackie comes in third for pure hard work and Jet comes in 4th though he is probably able to hold his own if not beat any of these amazing artists.
  4. Looking Hot! You have so much room in that thing the way it is setup. I am a bit jealous.
  5. I will definatley do so. They seem to be working out pretty well. Many have coraline encrusting on them already! Mr. S and his class make some really good frag discs at a reasonable price for those interested. Garrett
  6. The main frag tank is lit with 2x 250w SE MH's they are what look to be 12-14k spectrum but they were sold to me as 20k's when new. Had them running for 3-4 months now and I am pretty happy with them. Apparently they are made in the same factory and much the same way that XM's are made.
  7. That is so beautiful it is almost emotional to watch. My wife got all teary eyed from the combination of music and the amazing scenery. Garrett
  8. Rick, It would be great to have you down. Let me know when works for you and you are more than welcome to come check some stuff out. Even better, bring some goodies to trade!
  9. Yes, I would. I am in need of some more. I will give you a call shortly. Garrett
  10. I live in South Salem, so Albany isn't too far out of either of our ways. If you head up this direction toss me a PM and you can stop by and pick out what you like or I can drop something off down your way next time I go down to the range. Garrett
  11. That would be great Lance. Let me know when works for you Garrett
  12. I need to get a jawfish! They are so dang cool! Nice find and the hiding place is great! Long live the King!
  13. Let me know if anything here interest you http://www.pnwmas.org/forums/showthread.php?p=120738#post120738 Thanks, Garrett
  14. The frag tanks are doing well and corals are growing very nicely. It is time to diversify coral stock and add some more fish into the mix. I am looking to trade these coral frags for healthy, reef safe fish and other corals that I don't already have. Also could use more live rock and I need more fish for my algae growth and entertainment! I will put down a rough price for the frags for those that are interested in purchaseing some frags or for those that want to partilly trade or something. I am more than willing to make packages and deals for those that want a few things or a nice mix or zoas/palys or something. I can ship via USPS priority for between $6 and $10 in most cases or you are welcome to pick up/trade localy. Lighting is provided by 250w SE 20K(look more like 12-14K) MH's and frag discs are approximately 1.5" wide. Here is a pick of some of the various zoas/palys to choose from: Most of these frags are between $8-$20 per frag but some are as low as $5 and a few are a bit more than $20. All but a couple of these frags are available. A mix of these frags would make a wonderful, affordible, colorful addition to your reef tank. Here are some more specific coral frags: These are Jolly Green Giant People Eaters. They are a really nice paly and will get small speckles around the mouth over time or with higher lighting. Frags are 5-10 large polyps and are between $15-$25 This is a really nice variety of Neon Green Star Polyps. Very bright and fast growing, this coral will add colorful movement to your tank. Frags are $10 each Nuclear Green or Teal Candy Canes frags. These are a fast growing, colorful LPS coral. One of my favorites. Nuce Green's $10-$15/frag, Teal's $7-$10/frag.(Euphylias are freshly fraged and not yet ready for trade/sale) Toss me a PM or give me a call if your are interested. All reasonable trades and offers will be considered! Thank you for your interest! Garrett
  15. So after a few scares with 10g glass tanks breaking coupled with the desire for some crazy flow and larger tanks(tired of limited per tank space and such) I went ahead and spent my future childrens, future inheritance (whistle)(clap) All of the glass tanks have been removed and replaced with 1/2" thick acrylic, rimless tanks. I still have the ability to seperate species of various critters because each tank has several removable dividers. This covers what the 10g tanks were originally put in for as well as covers my new desire of larger tanks for more flow, etc. The tanks were used in a Danio research lab down at U of O and are in near perfect shape with the exception of a couple of lables and small plastic stick on hanging hooks for charts and such. I will be removing those shortly. Everything is doing really really well. Some of my corals are finally coloring back up from a run in with some cheap and equally bad ebay bulbs. I am please with everythings growth rate and color with the more expensive Ushio 20K's and XM 20K's. Here are some update shots of the prop system and the garage display tank: I am going to pick up a few more fish for the tanks as soon as I can. I need some extra fish poo for the algaes! I don't wont to stunt their growth. Garrett
  16. Beautiful stuff man! I can attest to these corals! They are super healthy and super nice. Ben, if you want to do a bit of trading I would be happy to take the purple bonzai, cali tort, and efflo frags off of your hands. Hell I will even add some cash to the deal to make it sweeter (naughty) Garrett
  17. Sallys are non stop cleaners and are awesome when they are small! I am glad yours is doing well Rick. The one in my display likes to jump on my hand when I have food in it lol. Garrett
  18. I would say yes the to emeralds. I have several in each of my tanks and have only ever caught 1 messing with a coral. It was a coral that was very unhealthy and the crab was probably just eating dead flesh is my guess. For your size tank I would have 2 or 3 emerals. Try and find a red one and a green one so that you have a couple of different colors. They are fun! Garrett
  19. Very nice tank you have there! I love all the softies and it looks like things are growing well! Never take your tank down! Just get another larger one if you ever do upgrade. Garrett
  20. Curtis, Very nice selection! I think you will be ok with all of the fish. The naso will grow quite large, but I think you have some time before you will have to find him a home. By then you probably will have a 500g tank anyhow. I have seen sarg triggers do really well in reef tanks and never touch anything but the food intented for them to eat. The copperbands are hit and miss but I had really good luck with one once. He ate all of my micro feathers but other than that nothing else was bothered. The angel will be a great addition! Nice finds! Your tank is going to be awesome with fish like these in them. Garrett
  21. Whatever guy told you to upgrade your light sounds like a pretty smart man to me. Wish I could get some advice from such a knowledgable guy I rarely do water changes and when I do it is just for piece of mind more so than I actually think it does anything. I have some of the best luck when my water and tanks are sort of left alone. Like Impur says, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I sort of live buy this though an upgrade here and there is always fun. Now as for your problem with the ducans getting to big... I think i may know a solution (naughty)
  22. Lol you guys just got me playing again! Bastards! Garrett (laugh)
  23. Glad to hear Curtis! Yah I don't have a problem with any of the ones that I still have either. Not even one polyp has any kind of issues lol. Garrett
