--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Give me a call to make an appointment to come by or send me a pm if you like! This weekend is a great time as I don't have to work and will be at the tanks much of the time. All prices are limited to stock on hand and are good through 8/29/10! Note: All pictures are for reference only and exact specimens will very slightly. These pictures are borrowed from other sites and are the property of their respective owners.
  4. Second morning bump... Oh and the coarls from TPA look way, way better than the pics. Kim and Beth had just gotten them in the tank and had to get some pics up asap. Buy some tickets and help save a baby!!!
  5. Thanks for making the trip down! It was fun chatting reef and hanging out. You all need to come down more often! Thanks for bringing the little ones as well! They are always fun!
  6. There are soooooooo many great inverts for a nano. I would start with a a wide mix/varitiety so that you have something that takes care of just about anything. Plus this will give you a real good idea of what you like best/works best for your tank. Snails and hermits are a must, and I would add a shrimp, an emerald or two, maybe a cucumber, etc. There are so many options lol.
  7. LOL I can imagine! I am way pumped and can't wait to start hacking some goodies.
  8. Welcome to the club! You have a ton of great reefers down your way! If you need anything for your tank, feel free to hit me up I can likely help with the new lighting as well.
  9. If it were me I would use a 200 micron filter sock or two. Change them out/wash them regularly. I would also run some good, clean carbon. I am a big fan of running filter socks. They catch alot of the micro particles that tend to cloud our water. After some time and when you are confortable with the clearness of the water, you can always stop using the socks.
  10. Sounds like a great choice! I would go with 400w lighting. Either HQI or electronic ballasts but it kind of depends on what you ultimately want to keep in the tank. I have lots of rock when you are ready
  11. I miss my 210g! Yes, it is a bit high but it definately is nice to have the extra coral and fish space. I really loved my 210g and it was well worth it. I have a 180g acrylic now and wish I had a 210g glass. I liked the dems better for display though I have to say it is easier to reach the back of the 180g. I say set that sucker up!
  12. I have had many different varieties and have had good luck with them up high, mid level, down low, under 400wers, 150wers, t-5s, and in high flow, low flow, and in tanks with way too many nutrients. Of course I have had varities that do not do so well for whatever reason, no matter where they are placed. I would say start out at a medium level with a medium amount of flow and go from there. Each tank will produce different results and each variety will react differently from one tank to another.
  13. Not exactly the closest drive, but if you can't find them locally, I have them.
  14. Looking good Michael! It will be cool to see what these guys look like in a year! Thanks for posting pics!
  15. Thanks Richard! Glad you could make it up. Noob, you gotta get down here (clap)(naughty)
  16. I will take one and an extra blade guide too. Gives me an excuse to head to nano reef which I have been wanting to do. Payment sent Thanks!
  17. Thanks for the props guys! (clap)(rock2) PM sent your way Zoolander
  18. Isaac, You rock man! Thanks for the great trade and the wonderful feedback. I always enjoy opening my chocolate.. or should I say coral factory doors! Definately get some pics up of that sick chalice when you have a chance. Thanks again!
  19. I think the coral donation w/raffle is a great idea! I would be down to donate some goodies if that is the route that you guys decide to go.
  20. Thanks again for coming down guys! David, glad to hear that the trip saved you some money on your car!
  21. I stock several varieties and sizes for $6-$7 each
  22. Bump for a killer truck at a great price! This is quite the truck folks!
  23. Hey Reefit, I don't have exact store hours per say but I am open by appointment Tossed you a PM. I would love to have you by!
