I would like to get everyone's for sure status as soon as possible so that I can decide when to bring the anemones in. I am thinking that if we can get it all hammered out by the end of the week and payments in by the end of the weekend then we can probably get these guys ordered next week, pics up mid to late week, and pickup there after. Also, I now have a few of sources to get these guys from, so the variety and diversity of what comes in should be pretty awesome if we can get enough people involved!!!

Here are the details from the last buy which will continue to this buy: For those of you who love carpet anemones but were afraid to get one because you heard they can be fragile and get big these things are perfect and amazing! We are using our 15 gallon aquapod for these amazing creatures(clap)(clap) The Nov/Dec Coral magazine has a great article about them: "They are exceptionally hardy, easy to keep , and extremely simple to clone by cutting. Like other anemones they do have a sting and prefer to live on or tucked into a rock rock. They usually reach about 5-6 inches!" The price will be 10 dollars cheaper and we need a total of at least 10 people prepaid. The price is 35 dollars for Grade A or 50 dollars for an ultra. You can't pick out your Maxi-min beforehand. Garrett will not know what he gets until the shipment comes and will grade them and then by raffle people get to make their picks. That's always fun to me! It is magic dust! I sell a ton of the stuff and for good reason. It really does what it claims to do. Definately follow the directions and remember to shut that skimmer down. As others have stated, it isn't a long term cure but it definately gets rid of cyano. To be honest the last time I used it, it wiped the cyano out and it hasn't been back since.

I have used about a dozen of them over time with extremely mixed results. I had a couple that were great and lasted a normal 12 or so months. Most were just trash though and to be honest I could see a huge difference in spectrum from lamp to lamp. I wouldn't touch these with a 10 ft pole now. I can offer much better name brand bulbs at a reasonable price and feel confident that my customers will come back for more and more corals simply because they love the colors in their tanks and aren't losing corals due to screwy spectrums. Jon, I totally agree with you. Those SPS lamps have to be one of my favorites. I love Phoenix, Radium!!!, Ushio, and XM's as well. I also hear that the new Elos lamps will knock your socks off!!

I will post more details on the hand select specimens once I get a chance to get a better look at them and they have been in the tanks for a day or two. I want to make sure they are nice and happy before I price em and take pics. The Ultra's and A grades will have pics taken, corresponding letters, and names will be drawn based on who ordered what. Ex) Ultra A, Ultra B, etc. A grade A, A grade B, A Grade C, etc. Then people will be able to pic based on what order their names are called ex) Pantherguy30's name drawn 2nd so he gets to pic second from the remaining Ultra nems.

Alright so I know I told everyone that I would be getting the order in early next week... Well, when I called up my supplier, I was able to get these guys to me a bit earlier. So guess what? I got them today!!! There are a bunch of really really great looking ones. To be honest, I am going to have some trouble grading them they are so nice!!! I was also able to get a few hand selected specimens that will be sold on a per specimen basis(enquire if you like). They will cause you to squint your eyes a bit when you look at them simply do to the fact that they are so bright I have about 13 or so for the group buy that I will be posting pics of by the end of the weekend. I want to get them a few days to happy up so that I can really get a chance at some decent pics. I am extremely pleased with what came in and I would guess that part of why they sent so many great looking specimens is because we ordered so dang many of them!! I don't think they usually have one place order so many. WOOHOO!!!
