I have run three tanks off of a common sump. If your looking at having the frag tank in your office I would have the display drain to frag tank, the frag tank to the sump. Easier plumbing wise and will save you some flow on the frag tank.
If your going to use that 20g long then use both the holes as drains back to the sump, and have the display drain (frag tank return) over the top are strung from above.
I'm all about saving pump use and using what is already there. It's safer too IME.

You'll have the same issues with live rubble rock if it is out of water IME.
I would just take them out and use the sump as is. You could do a refugium there with rubble rock and chaeto if that was your flavor.

Depends on the LED's. You can see the flashing with normal output bulbs. I don't think the flashing is photosynthetic dependent, but I'm probably not the one to ask.
They like enough current to bring them food, not enough to blow it off of them. They do need to be target fed IME. If they do not like there spot, they will move to a new one. Sadly most do not live long in aquariums. I'd suggest reading up a bit on them.

It's not a new wave, that is so five years ago.
FWIW I had huge aiptasia in my overflow box. Larger then a quarter. The do help to break down detritus.
If you ever have a space where you can have one and feed it daily for a few weeks you might get the draw. When they get to a certain size they will consume an entire cube of brine shrimp, then wait for it, wait for it . . . .. . . puke it back up. It's kinda awesome.
I don't know why you posted that picture of me. That's not why I sent it to you. I was trying to help you with your work out plan to score more ladies. I feel violated. . .
I have a PCI knock off, but I thought they were the same. My RPS 1000 took 1"
Dennis your screwing the bell curve up for the rest of us.
You'd really give him an A+? I'll give Dennis an A for my transactions with him, but it's not like I got a graped abd fanned by a beuatiful maiden wearing a leaf bikini. I guess we all have different ideas of A+ .Although I did meet undertaker hahahhahahahaahahahaaaa
Your either a guy who is pro hobbyist and has good prices, or your someone that mocks there customers for selling them a frag the size of a fleck of pepper for an outrageous price. You can't be both, pick a side.
I do business with people that treat me well. This is my hobby, what I do for fun. The emotions and attitude surrounding this are not fun.
I will take two. I will be there on Tuesday. What time should I come? Quite serious. I can prepay if need be.
My midas and bi color did O.K. in my 65g for a few months, then it was war.
The LMB and the midas might be dissimilar enough in body type that they will not recognize each other as con specifics. Maybe, just a guess.
My bad for not calling you man. YGPM
To be honest, I don't have macro gear, but I do have a descent lens, we could probably crop pretty closely without loosing much between the lens, camera, and light. I'll play with stuff a bit here.
I think they work well in reverse for planted marine tanks. The only application I would use one for, but there is some favor and descent results with them in that crowd.

Thanks.
Got some today, it is already working wonders. The seahorse is upright and hitched. Still not eating, but I expect to see that soon, hopefully.
There was a strong movement against them calling them toturespheres. Apparently those shrimp slowly starve to death and there life span is cut by a 1/4.
I'm not to attached, just a shrimp (seahorse food) to me. But I can see how they are kinda unethical in one sense of the word, but then again they are just shrimp.
Draw the line yourself.
I'll second the vote for GSP. Probably there base and not coraline as well. They look cool when those green things are 1"+ long, but they are invasive and grow fast IME.
