  1. Spendy is having to replace a tank after it fails, or worse replace the floor, subfloor, duct work, drywall, vapor barriers. . . Do you know how much damage a failed tank can do? 20k in a minute, easy, and that is if you are home to stop it. Getting a good tank is worth the money IMO. It's not the part you want to save money on. JME Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. IME it is kinda hard to dry the crawl space especially if the water gets into the duct work. . . That was so last week for me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. 75% for me on the 2040 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. You can hook it up there very easily with that connection. There is a splitter you can buy. You just need to know that size and then tell them you want a John Guest splitter on the other end. Super easy. I have it hooked up under my bathroom sink like that right now for the time being, used to have it split off my washer like that. The thing with the fridge though is your going to need a drain close by for the waste water, unless you can pump it outside from there. Good luck
  5. I wouldn't be worried about that at all. I could be wrong, but you saw the corner of my 125g, never an issue.
  6. I'm off that weekend. Nothing to sell though, just experience to share. Oddly enough I'm not to into lenses. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. If you ever want help with photo's I am a call away. Not bragging but I know photos better then you know how to grow coral. And I know how good you are at growing coral. I am envious of how you grow coral. I'm down to show you all my photo tricks if your down to show me your coral tricks. I sold $840,000 in photos in 2013, not bragging but just saying ( I was on disability at the time), I'm top 1% of the top 1% in the world for professional photographers in the world. I've made this offer 4 other times, 5th time is the last. I am down to help, but if not wanted I'll go ahead and stfu. Your photos are very good, but I can close the gap. You are a wheel roll away for getting where you want. Post production, I can cut that time significantly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. So you don't wanna buy that light you sold me that is now in a box in my garage back? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. That is quite the road you have been on. I would share my story but it would read something like 18,29,44,75,65, 20-10's, 4-20l,34g, 125,120,90. Not always taking one down to get the other up Welcome to the forum. A lot of good people around here that like to help each other out. Good luck
  10. I don't think my corals know that they don't
  11. Wow that is crazy. I only paid $180 for my Ocean Revives and they came with an internal controller and a remote. (whistle)
  12. Serious Brad, the google home page
  13. We explored this a couple of years ago and at that time it was not enough to warrant the change. We do sometimes have weekday meet and greets or happy hours, but it feels like it has been a long time. Usually those are more social and not "officially" club sponsored events.
  14. Got a link for that? The sugar from carbon dosing feed a very specific set of bacteria in my understanding. It does not increase the growth of every bacteria in the system from what I have read. If you have other information, I would love to see it.
  15. I was doing 7mL a day on a 265g system. I haven't set it back up since the move, but I really need too It is very easy once you get it going well. All tanks are different in what they need. My system did not need much. I know of one person who does 45mL a day on a 100g. So there is a range. Start low, go slow. It is worth doing IME
  16. Our club is doing quite a bit to protect these species. It's part of what we are about.
  17. Currently we have a PNWMAS group, which is great for discussion off of this site. What we have just created is a page, which will allow our club to broadcast and advertise across facebook to reach a wider audience. The Facebook group will still exist, we will be running this in addition.
  18. Dimensions on the sump? Part out price for the pump?
  19. http://www.fisheries.noaa.gov/stories/2014/08/docs/corals_fact_sheet.pdf Acropora and Montipora seem to be the ones that affect us most.
  20. I may be interested in the reefkeeper what comes with it pH and temp?
  21. I'm happy to hear you think that John, your a huge reason why this club lasted all these years. Glad to see you back.
