albertareef
Looks fantastic Mike! Seems like most things made it through the move in good shape. I love those huge cap colonies... that green & purple one was one of my favorites when it was Garrett's tank.

fredknack
I noticed that you have a inflatable toy laying on the ground in front of your tank. Be careful. If you slip and fall on that ball you could be swimming with the fishes The tank looks awesome!
TAD
Nice job. Everything looks great, love when good planning and hard word pay off. What is that right under the two yellow tangs in the third picture on this page? Saw some of it at Travis's place yesterday and didn't know what it was. I guess that's the newbie in me showing. I was also wondering if you used the generator? I was worried about the exhaust fumes concentrating in a closed trailer.

What is that right under the two yellow tangs in the third picture on this page? ... Hey TAD - I think you are talking about the sun coral (orange colony?). They are really cool and have bright yellow (usually) tentacles that open up when they feed. They don't need a lot of light buy you typically do need to target feed them - they will learn to open up when food is presented.
ThePremiumAquarium
Mike, The tank looks to be coming along nicely! I am very happy to see that nothing too horrible happened to anything during either of the two moves lol. That tank is now officially well used! I would love to come check it out sometime once things get settled in with it. Beautiful system! Garrett

Alberta is right, it is a sun coral (tubastraea) and they do need to be fed regularly and when it comes out it is bright yellow. As far as the generator, yes I did use it. I did however leave it in the back of the truck and ran a cord into the trailer so no probs.

The big green monti has taken it pretty ruff at the moment but im shure it will come around again in time. It looks a little different now as things have been moving around(bubble tip) but seems to have found a spot that it likes.I will post some recent pics soon. And just say the word we would love to have you.
