downhill_biker
can you post a list of the fish you have? i agree the riccordea rock is awesome. some great colors there. loved it in person. i am a huge fan of tomini tangs and blonde naso tangs, so you got me there, but what else do you have? Michael7979
Tomini tang Reg. Naso tang Clown tang Scribbled rabbitfish Juv. Imperator angel LMB Target mandrain I also have a Red Sea sailfin tang in the 40B he will be added into the 240 mix after the move later this summer. Crossing my fingers that they will all get along. Would also like to add a school of 4-5 Squammipinnis anthias. Thinking I'll get those and add them and the RS tang all at once to help in aggresion from the other tangs. Michael7979
Well here is the latest additions! (thanks to prada) The 2 hammers look good but the favia is going to need more time to adjust. Anyways here are the 2 hammers. This is the best color match that my camera can do. The 1st is a smaller headed hammer that is pale green w/ over 20 heads. The 2nd is 2 heads of the larger headed variety that is light purple with green.
Michael7979
PS- How do you like my 'holders'? Cut the bottom out of 2 plastic glasses.
Michael7979
Did the usual Monday routine today too. Cleaned the skimmer, changed filter sock, cleaned the glass well, and made sure all looked like it did the last time I looked. Need to test water soon as it has been 3-4 weeks since last tests. God I love Mondays!!! :)
Michael7979
Not sure if the favia is going to make it........... :( Guess we will have to wait and see if it bounces back.
Michael7979
Well a month later and I can finally give you the last update! All is doing well and even the favia made it!! (yeah!!) This is the last update I will enter on this thread................... that being because I have to move the tank in 2 weeks!! (sad) (sad) Look forward to seeing a new thread entitled something like.......... "THE MOVE: a.k.a. the re-birth of a 240!" (nutty) DOH! (plotting) (scratch) (flame) (scary) figure those emotions should pretty well sum up my feelings!
downhill_biker
good luck with the move. should be easier since you aren't moving too far, but moving is never fun, especially with a tank.
Michael7979
I should have sold off everything!!! Took roughly 9 hours and it still is up and running completely!

Michael7979
I knew I would most likely lose a few things in the move, it just happens. But I have had a few more losses then I would have liked to see. Really bummed about it too. Not sure if I should sell all the livestock or go for a "re-birth". I think things just got stressed out and didn't like to be moved. Don't think temp. was an issue but it could have been a combination of things. ClayTheSavageFraser
Aw....buddy!! I'm scared to move!! I vote go for the re-birth. And don't give up!! Sometimes things look dead, but all they need is time! You are in my saltwater prayers!! Clay
