Eatfrenchfries
Captive bred cerith snails. Unknown origin but possibly Micronesia. Been breeding for about 4 months in my aiptasia and berghia stock tanks. Never seen one grown bigger than an inch. More like 0.8inch. Great detritus sifter and algae eater. Notorious for being able to fit inside of power heads. Breeding only occurs if seasonal temperature differences are made. For Sale: Lot of 5 -> $10 Lot of 10 -> $18 Portland, OR No shipping
Kerbash
Haha! Thats awesome! Ill definitely take some off your hand the next time Im in Portland if you still have some left. Did they have a planktonic stage that you had to care for?
Eatfrenchfries
They did have a slight plankton stage. For about a week or so they appear as little slugs hovering above surfaces. Few millimeter. Filter less tank so no worry about losing them. The tank receives phytoplankton + rotifers from a doser 24/7.

Any tips or words of caution on dosing phytoplankton via a doser? Does it need to stay refrigerated?

Phytoplankton in a doser needs to be refrigerated if more than one day. Also depending on the distance of the tube you may need to program the doser to backtrack the phyto in the tube to keep it from spoiling. Depending on the phytoplankton it may settle so it still needs suspended somehow. Personally I use alginate, some fit a magnetic stirrer into it on a timer.
