Weston Zach
I'm in the process of putting together a system that will include a 180 gallon DT, 50 gallon sump, and 90 gallon refugium/specimen tank. I had an issue with copper in the tank and finally found out that it was most likely caused by a cracked skimmer pump. Working on clearing out the copper. Need more lights and maybe more flow. It's a work in progress. Right now I have the DT and the sump running. I want to have the water from the refugium return to the DT rather than the sump. My brother is building me a steel stand to elevate the refugium so that it can gravity feed back to the DT.
SantaMonica
Yes make sure the copper is out. If you can start out with a few big fish that eat a lot, and get that scrubber growing again, it will absorb the copper too. Then once the copper is gone, you can try a test invert and see how it goes.
