Manny Tavan
This weird thing is happening. Everytime I drill a hole and place a frag plug in it...I can see a $100 leaving my wallet... reef-fisher
This is a really cool concept. I would be curious if you could build little rubble type plugs so it looks a little more natural and adds some depth. I’ll be setting up a new tank soon and may have to try this... lookin good! When do you get the tank and how soon can you expect to have water in it?

When do you get the tank and how soon can you expect to have water in it? I thought about but in the end when it’s all covered in corals you can really the rock anyway. I always aim for 100% coverage of the rocks so the “bones” don’t really matter. I really want something to prevent corals from growing into each other tank is ready, I get the stand parts tomorrow. Still need plumbing and sump. I’ll probably have water in it in a month
Manny Tavan
Parts from tnutz.com came in today shipping of custom parts was super quick and the packaging was impressive. It’s heavier/studier than I anticipated. It’s a good 100lbs of weight right there some of my measurement were in 1/16” and they are on point! Cobalt
Primo stand! Love the shelf rock setup. I wish I drilled mine for plugs before I did that. I was afraid the rock would crumble. Mine are not the sawed slabs so it seemed less dense/conducive for drilling.

We use similar extrusions at work to build modular fan walls, and based on that experience I recommend using gussets at the bottom that match the top. And after doing my hood build, I realized I needed to use 4 hole plates. PM me if you don't want to wait for your order to arrive. https://8020.net/4351.html 4351 15 Series & Ready Tube 5 Hole - 90 Degree Angled Flat Plate

Manny Tavan
Gotta give props to the bubble magus filter roller. It is solid and came pre-assembled. Not like the clarisea that cost twice as much and came in parts. Can’t wait to try it out

reef-fisher
That filter roller looks slick. I’m curious if you have tried the Klir one yet? I’m getting real sick of socks. Acrolandia looks like an oasis for corals. Nice work

Would be hard to mess that up
