SuncrestReef
While many people consider vermetid snails to be annoying pests in a reef tank, they are pretty fascinating creatures with a very effective method of catching food. Here's a macro video of a vermetid in my tank reeling in its meal. It's amazing how much stuff it captures from the water column.
albertareef
Cool video but they still annoy me when they end up coating an acro with their "fishing" lines. It is impressive just how much material they collect on those strands - you can really see it in the macro.

Need one or two or 3, of them Sent from Atlantis 🤙 I agree, they are annoying when they cover a coral. I've had great success using superglue to seal the tube shut if they're too close to a coral. The one in this video is in a perfect position where the current keeps the line drifting in the middle of the tank without touching any corals, so I've left this one alone. youcallmenny
I like to plant lepto's next to them. Then I laugh as the coral grows right over them!
milesmiles902
Reminds of the terrestrial version, but just as that snail is a worm, this worm is a fly. Both are pretty amazing.
