SuncrestReef
My acan colony is doing really well, with great coloration and polyp extension. Take a look at how it moves in the water flow:

albertareef
That is a nice acan! Good to see some of these showing up in the stores again... seems like the supply of more colorful specimens dried up for a while. I haven't paid close enough attention to know if any of the collection/export embargoes impacted that.

Salted_Waffles
I’m still learning things, but isn’t that a Micromussa?

Salted_Waffles
I thought Acanthastrea Lordhowensis has been reclassified as Micromussa Lordhowensis? So Acan Lords are now Micro Lords. Either way it definitely is a beautiful little colony! Edited January 9, 2019 by Salted_Waffles

youcallmenny
Oh my... I swear, my growing acan collection is going to be the ultimate reason I have to buy a coral saw.

I could take them off your hands 🤗 Actually, this would be it for me as well - no way I would try fragging acans without one.

Thanks, but can you answer the question: Is it an Acan, or Micromussa?
