hotdrop
Looks nice, got a 45.2 the other day, same deal all the panels are damaged. Were all your screws a grip length too short and made of chinesium? Also did you replace the overflow seals and gaskets? I'm now worried that all the stock hardware is crap grade and I really dont want those to leak. Edited March 3, 2019 by hotdrop
Manny Tavan
The plumbing seems ok...Better than my red sea to be honest. Screws were better quality than ikea lol. No issues with the hardware overall
Manny Tavan
She’s officially wet. Filling it directly from the rodi unit. Going to take forever
Manny Tavan
Tank is full and apexEL is hooked up. What a pain it was to setup as a second apex. Also more goodies. The brand new maxspect gyre 350 arrived.

Manny Tavan
Nothing good happens fast in this hobby. This is also a second tank so it helps that I don’t have to rush. I can do things right this time
Manny Tavan
Started the cycle this morning. Two blocks of marine pure media that have been cycling for 3 months, a table spoon of ammonia and a bottle full of biospira. Ordered two more bottles of biospira. I dose ammonia daily for three days and the ammonia level the next day is usually zero. Edited March 13, 2019 by Manny Tavan
ocboat
Those Marine Pure blocks really work well for nitrates. I only have one in my 130 gallon system and I actually have to dose nitrates or else my sps turn pale.
youcallmenny
I'm really enjoying this build. Those Orphek's are awesome and I'm excited to see what they do!
Manny Tavan
My three day cycle is done. Ammonia went from over 2 to 0 and my nitrate from 0 to 100 lol. Edited March 15, 2019 by Manny Tavan

CrazyInside
Awesome looking tank! Looks like waterbox is giving red sea a pretty solid run. Which model is this? I don't see a waterbox 150 listen on the site?
Manny Tavan
It’s the 190.5 (150g display + 40g sump)
Blue Z Reef
Looking good! How do you like the new 350 gyres? I’m debating flow for my new tank and they are in the running 😁
Manny Tavan
Extemely quiet compared to my icecap 3k. Even with my ear next to it I can’t hear it. So much flow I only have both at 20% randomly alternating. They are well worth the price.
Manny Tavan
Just got these two amazing fish in the QT. Wow!
Manny Tavan
My $20 refugium light is amazing. Better than my $150 kessil h80 on my red sea. About 10 days ago I put a baseball size piece of chaeto in sump. Here is what it looks like today

Mandinga
Rocking the chaeto! Cool light, cool build, keep it up. What did you secure your aquascape with? Cheers, following. Super cool scape too! That one on the left is like some demented christmas tree. I have some of that tonga rock in one of my tanks too! looks cool , but a pia for sure when it comes to adding frags...especially corals that like to spread out. Oh well, rack it up as another reefer concern hahaha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Manny Tavan
I used e-marco cement and some epoxy as well. It’s super strong so I don’t really worry about anything collapsing
Manny Tavan
I told myself no coral in this tank for at least 6 months...that didn’t last long. Couldn’t help myself especially since the red sea 170 is full of nice corals to chose from

Looking good. 👍
