albertareef
Going to try and raise them again or just need to do a "cleanse" on the tank? Too bad no one locally has been able to keep them going (as far as I know).

One nudibranch can eat ALLOT of aptasia!

When you add to your tank are you gonna shut down flow or no? Do you try and place them on the rocks? I don’t want my fish to eat them. Mine come tomorrow. Pumps off is not a bad idea. Put them close together, so they can find each other and breed. Be patient, it takes weeks even months for them to build up enough population.
Taylorhardy1
When you all have cleaned your tanks free of aiptasia, and have offspring to sell I am definitely interested in buying a few.

Ya, you would have been an easy guy to have in on the group buy! I hope to get some babies, enough to resell some locally, so if things go well I have ya covered! Seriously though its going to be at least a couple months.
milesmiles902
Has anyone tried to breed these things locally? You know, I've been downsizing my aquarium, but it would be cool to have a nudibranch tank. I'm going to look into it.

From my research it seems nearly impossible to keep enough aiptasia to breed them for a resale purpose. Most places that breed seem to offer a 1 to 1 healthy live rock for aiptasia covered rocks in attempt to keep their foodsource stocked. milesmiles902
Aptasia would be hard. Maybe fish eggs? https://www.thoughtco.com/facts-about-nudibranchs-2291859 I'd call it my nudi - bank
