xmas_one
Put the mp40 on the bottom pointed up. I swear the flow in the tank is at least twice as good as when it was on the side panel. The tank is 32” wide, 24” front to back, and 20” deep.
Exodus
Interesting Approach, Can't say I have seen a powerhead mounted like this before. Though theoretically it make sense if your attempting to keep all the crap on the bottom suspended in the water column on its way to the sump. Keep us posted on how this works out
albertareef
I like it! Should provide some really good surface agitation as well. Definitely will be curious to see how it works out long term.
SuncrestReef
Just curious, it the tank on a stand with a solid top? In the photo it looks like perhaps the glass is on a stand with cross bars, so is the powerhead magnet against the glass bottom or is there another layer of stand support below the powerhead? TheClark
Cool! I always thought one in the back, pointed up towards the overflow, would keep stuff suspended and feed into the overflow. Nice to see someone else tried it!
