nanoreefer
I’m ready to venture into the world of sps! Looking for a small high end sps frag pack that include brightly colored corals (for photography). Branching much preferred over encrusting
albertareef
I would reach out to Son @beer503 he often has cut to order frags from some very desirable specimens... Of course we also have some killer vendors on here that would be happy to set you up!
pdxmonkeyboy
Son has some sweeeet corals. He has great prices but be warned, the numbers still add up quickly. If you are just starting with SPS then i would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest getting some cheap run of the mill frags first and see how they receed and die first. Being excited about SPS when first starting goes something like this: 1. these are awesome!!2. they look great.. this isnt that hard.3. huh, that looks weird. does that look weird, i think that is weird4. no,no,no!! what is happening5. google, google ,google, panic.6. $75 desk ornament. ask me how i know.... I think the tank is stable enough to give it another try. My monti and birdsnests have been growing well with great colors so I'm hoping not to fail miserably.

youcallmenny
Sounds like your canary in the coalmine, so to speak, indicates success! Given your predilections with macro photography, I'm excited to see the results. 1

Maybe also give Mattv a shout, i'm sure he has something cookin on his racks he might be willing to part with. If i remember correctly i believe pantherguy30 and Mattv run it together so you might want to give him a shout as well. https://www.facebook.com/Stumptowncorals/ Edited June 22, 2018 by ChrisQ
