Blue Z Reef
Anyone played with this? I have and really enjoy it. It's nice to repurpose old phones that you may have laying around collecting dust. I'm using an old 3GS which is basically worthless these days but works easier than the wifi cam I bought for this! http://www.reef2reef.com/forums/do-yourself-diy/188813-turn-your-old-apple-device-into-webcam.html
Blue Z Reef
I have mine on a suction cup windshield car mount at the end of my tank. Not really practical for any sort of trouble shooting but fun to see the fish randomly at work
vanz
I saw that thread over there and did the same. Tested it out and works pretty well.

TheClark
Love it, cool, thanks for sharing. I personally cannot leave my house without tank cams, running a few in the office, helps me relax while away. Now maybe I can up it to 4??!! Smann
That's cool, didn't know they could do that, do you keep them plugged in all the time?. I have Linksys cams, one to watch the fish and one on the sump to watch the water level when traveling

catfish2
thanks for sharing this. It's awesome. I wasn't sure if there was cross compatibility or not, but there is. I was able to use it with my ipad at home and Samsung S3.
ChrisQ
Got it installed then realized i don't have a 2nd apple device after all Thanks for the share though. Scratch that!! I'm not sure what just got me fiddling with this again but i got it working! I don't need 2 apple devices after all. I must have missed something the 1st time around. Old iphone duct taped to the wall (at the end of my frag tank) temporary of course and running AtHome Camera on my computer in the next room. works great! You'll be surprised what your fish will do when you're not looking. I was just watching my Yellow tang swim around like a Flounder under my acrylic frag racks chasing my six line around.
