icepikbiker
75-76 cuz I'm running a Petco heater and that's where it was set, sometimes they are a pain to set right. Lol
Blackice
78 most of the time 82 in the summer on real hot days. No ac????
TheClark
Thanks guys. Reason I asked is that this is surprisingly controversial if you google the topic. I am at 78, going to move to 80 after allot of reading.
Smann
Since I switched to Led's I have to heat my tank to keep it at 76 any higher and the heater and Chiller/heater would be running a lot more
LC Scott
78, to 76 on the really cold days.
cerk1985
78 when the lights are off, and 80 when they are on. I dont run a heater, tank stays consistant with out one.
TheClark
Bumped to 80. Coral looks slightly better, could be wishful thinking. Thanks for the replies!
NoobtoSalt
60 oh wait that's for the Coldwater tank..haha the reef which is only an 8 gallon sits around 76 or so. What have you read on the 80 degrees? When I've had my tanks in the past that high the corals didn't seem to like it as much. pledosophy
80 for reef. 72 for seahorses. 55 for cold water. Temperature affects metabolism for reefs and cold water, and bacterial growth for seahorses. 65 for seahorse fry tanks IME Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
