OwenReefin Posted March 15, 2011 Share Posted March 15, 2011 LR rubble will add to your nitrates. Cool improvements, a sump is a great addition to any tank for a magnitude of reasons. The mass chaeto will be your nitrate reducer. Adding a deep sand bed with some mangroves popping out of your chaeto will demolish trates, did for me. Cool stuff Kimberlee. Kimberlee Posted March 16, 2011 Author Share Posted March 16, 2011 Thank you, the sump has been in the make for some time. Maybe those lbs would be better in the DT as just LR. Always a little room for change. I plan on the deep sand bed, but it wont get added right away.
