reef165
This is a several part question, first, who has done the deep fried turky for Thanksgiving? Anyone have the equipment to do it? If you do and arn't using it this year can I borrow it? I've been wanting to try this for the last couple years, this year I really want to give it a go. Thanks, Eddie
newfisher
Just make sure it is COMPLETELY thawed before you drop it in.
jgf86123
If it isn't, I hope you a, have good homeowners insurance, and b, great medical insurance, cause it will let you know REALLLLLLLL quick that it's not thawed out all the way LOL
rgrcrain
Fried turkey is the best. At home depot they now have a Oil less Infrared turkey fryer. Not sure how it works but there ya go, no deck fires.
Joe Blow
As previously mentioned, just make [language filter] SURE it's thawed out. Slowly lower the turkey into the oil, and you'll be fine. I would let you borrow mine, but I left it over on my boat in Newport......... Only reason I'm not deep fryin this year is because I got a Traeger for Father's Day. Harold B
Deep fried turkey can't be beat, but it does take 25 dollars worth of oil.

reef165
Thanks guy's, ya I've herd it's the best but I've never had, I'm getting very excited to try it. I can get a stock pot so dose anyone have a propain burner? I know the oil is kinda expensive, could it be used for two turkeys in a row? like if split the cose of the oil and cooked two? darrellw
We deep fried for several years, and were happy with the results, but I think much of how good it was is due to injecting the marinade. We do our turkeys on our Trager now, but still do the injection thing, and they are just as good.

J.R
Fried's okay but BBQ/Smoked is much better IMO.
