Hi everyone! Wow it has been along time! It has been a Blast reading through the posts!

Back in 2000 -or so- Woody and Alice over at the seahorse a few others ( soory bad with names) and me had a dream of creating a club like this..and I see we did it... well I was there for about a year then some personal issues came up and had to abandon all of our hard work we put in to the club and worst our reef tank :(

But I am getting back into the lifestyle and can't wait to meet all of the knew faces! It really makes me very happy to see you all kept the name I created 7 years ago for the club!P!N!W!M!A!S!!!!!!! :)

Our tank is still up and running, but houses are Oscars to this date. I plan on moving them into a new tank and starting up the reef again(clap) But wow I feel like a newbie all over again! I still have all of my equipment but sure there is much better stuff out there since it has been 7 years! So any input on books, equipment, etc. I should catch up on would be greatly appreciated!

Well it is late and should get. Hope to see allot of new faces soon!

I am looking forward to meeting you Scott. I hope you like how the club has been coming along. Our next meeting is at Advanced Aquarium in Salem on the 21st at 2:00pm. Our February meeting is at the Milwaukie Center and will feature Eric Borneman.

The club is still kind of in it's infancy. We are learning as we go.

Yeah Scott, it's been 7 years already since we had those meetings at Woody's. There have been new advances in lighting, filtration, salt mixes, test kits, and much more known about marine aquarium keeping in general... definitely some catching up to do.

Along with meeting the new faces, I think you will recognize a few old faces too, as some of the original members are returning as we have more guest speakers and events. Welcome back.

You have almost six weeks left!! You should hopefully get your kitchen done by then.

Well lets see...I'm the contractor, cabinet maker, electrician, plumber, sheetrocker, tiler, and the clean it up grunt. So it will really be pushing it since we just to the sledge to it last Saturday(whistle)
