I was really looking forward to seeing the shop and everyone out there. That being said something came up and I am unable to make it out there. I hate it when people say they are going to meet up with you somewhere and then flake out and don't give any sort of a notice to let you know what's going on. And here I am doing it to others... Too bad you and reefit couldn't make it You Fish Flake(laugh):p Since I stayed until the final raffle and grabbed everyone's tickets who left, I finally won a 25 dollar gift card!(rock2) The food was awesome.. best rib and tri tip.... I don't drink very often but I woke up in my buddy's apartment not realizing what happened the night before. I can't hang with the young kids drinking anymore but either way I'm done with it. I have decided it's not worth drinking if I'm going to be that hung over the next day. It sucks when I was really looking forward to going to the meeting and a stupid bottle of rum made my decision the night before. I don't drink every day or even once a month but when I do I kick back way too much. I'm sure I didn't have to explain it but I owe it to some of you that I dissapointed. I'm not to the point of AA or anything but this is my "first step" to recovery. No more drinking for me. And thanks for the FISH FLAKE comment.. (laugh) See, I do feel badly now Jesse...(sad) but I cannot change my comment besides you quoted me so it's here for all posterity.(laugh) I know you knew I was kidding and it was nice of you to explain what happened because it does suck when you are selling stuff and the person says they are going to be there and you wait around and they never show up. This hobby attracts addictive personalities. I used to play poker for hours and hours! I find less need to do that now that I'm in the hobby. It's good you realized your mistake, owned up to it, and learned from it. That's all you can really do. I say this as I am posting from the Spirit Mountain casino(laugh) hotel room..but I didn't even go play poker last night. Would rather spend it on corals..
