CrazyInside
So i've been working for the last few weeks every day even weekends and finally I have this weekend off. So today I bought a blow off valve for my WRX and was installing it today. Almost had it all the way on and one of the bolts snapped inside of the Intercooler. So now my weekend off will be spent tearing apart the car to get the intercooler off and drilling out the broken bolt. (flame) Just annoyed right now because instead of having my car with a new part on it.. I have to fix it lol. On the plus side I did get the BoV brand new for about 100 bucks cheaper than retail

TRENT
That sucks, one time I broke a bolt off while changing head gaskets on a 350. Simple job ended up being a big ordeal.(cussing) I feel your pain.

newfisher
haha if only! Tomorrow i'm going to drill a hole in the bolt and unscrew it.. i hope lol Soak it with penetrating oil tonight. If your intercooler is aluminum and the bolt is mild steel, the corrosion that locked the threads should melt away when soaked.
