NoobtoSalt
more than likely ick... Do you have a cleaner shrimp in the tank? If so I've had ick problems in the past and it somehow fixed it.

NoobtoSalt
If it's still eating it should be ok for a few days but who knows.. Between having a Blood Shrimp and my cleaners they seem to do a good job on geting things out of the tank without chemicals.
jgf86123
That's not ich, not with that description. Sounds like it could be pop-eye or something like that. Lemme look around an see what I can find, I know the best info I've found for diseases is on the saltwaterfish.com forums, Beth is extremely knowlegable and has some really good info out. jgf86123
If you have a QT tank set up, get him in it asap, you don't want to take a chance on him infecting anyone else in the tank. http://forums.saltwaterfish.com/vb/showthread.php?127007-FAQs-Fish-Diseases-Treatments-Quarantine-Health-Info Check that out, I don't see anything similar to yours, but, it wouldn't hurt starting an account over there an posting these pics in their Disease section, they're usually pretty quick about getting answers.
