jackaninny
Inspired by sponsor Tim at Westsde Aquarium in this post I thought I'd ask what is the biggest single piece of live rock you have in your system? What special accommodations did you have to make to get/fit it in your tank? PS Pictures always make things more interesting.
Michael7979
Here is the rock thats in my tank now. Three pieces are roughly the same size/weight, (20-25lbs). They fit into the tank just fine but they were not the easiest to manuver around while standing on a ladder.
stylaster
I have three 60 lbish ones one 40lb one and one that is about 15 lbs and that's 95% of the rock in my tank
MrScuito
Its a bad pic but this rock is about 20" long, 15-16" tall, 4-6" thick and wieghs 75-80lbs its somewhat s shaped so it kinda wraps around the overflow
reef165
It's hard to tell on any pic I can take with all the rock stacked together but I have 2 pieces that are 24 lbs plus. they are the whiter pieces in the pic.
pledosophy
22" tall, over 12" across, no idea on the weight but when I moved it into the new tank I swear it is 300 lbs, or maybe it just felt like that at the end of a day of moving. I'll get pics up soon.
