grassi
I want to try one of Evilc66 Par38 "spotlight" led. They offer quantity discount for 5+: http://www.nanotuners.com/product_info.php?cPath=74&products_id=623 They are sold as spot, but lots of people use them as main lighting system. Or just to spot some showpieces. They are in backorder until 3/20, so we have time. Some more info here: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1746535 Or on Nano-reef.com

pledosophy
I want to try these too, but I just bought that chiller and still need to buy a pump and some more actinics in the next few weeks. Please do keep us up to date on how they do for you. I am very interested in using them on my macro planted tanks.
grassi
I understand..I just spend lots of money on a new fixture for my display. I'm glad I did.. my corals are looking 100 times better than before. ... Btw, a few more people and we can do an order saving some money and try them out. dsoz
I will need to think about this, and find a way to get $100. I have a 40b with a 15w halide that has about 1/3 of the tank in the dark. One of these just may be the trick for the dark side of the tank... dsoz
