fishmanmike01
I would like to paint a piece of plumbing im thinking of putting in the tank, Is there a reef safe paint you can use?
andy
Re: Reef safe paint? I know a lot of people have success with Krylon Fusion. Just make sure you clean the pvc well before painting, or you might have adhesion problems (I didn't, so I did) Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
spectra
Is this going in the tank or outside? I also used the fusion black paint on all of my plumbing and it held fine(without cleaning a thing) But if going in the water am not sure if it will work. fishmanmike01
Yes it was going in the tank. Unless somebody knows where to get black rigid pipe in 1/2".
7Max-GTE
When I helped set up a store in Vegas, the only paint we used was krylon fusion. It is reef safe, and can go in the tank. We painted all of our plumbing black with it. Hope this helps!
Twitterbait
I agree on krylon fusion. just let it dry for 24-48 hours first
undrtkr_00
You might scuff the pipe with some fine sandpaper a bit to make sure it adheres well.
