Algae
Anybody using Tech-M magnesium dosing for Bryopsis control? I know that Bob was using high mag dosing (1500). I've heard of people using as much as 2300-3300 ppm, which I would not consider. Also my Salifert does not read over 1500. Anyone know how to get it to read higher? Lowman
Franklin, to get a higher reading you fill the 1 ml syringe up for a second time, then continue drops until the reagent changes color. Then you add the 1500 to the number that your second syringe says. I may not have explained that too well, but if you have a auestion, I can call you and answer it for you. Algae
Very cool, Bob! How was your mag dosing experience?
Lowman
Slow and steady baby. Keep those levels up over 1500 and I think your bryopsis will go away

Ron Popeil
ive used it multiple times. in very non precise methods. i usually just pour a bottle or so in and make sure it ends up somewhere over 1800 ppm and it works very well and quickly. i havent seen any other method successfully clear a tank of bryopsis. pledosophy
IME my bryopisis did not start to disintergrate until after three days of being over 1800 ppm. JME
