ciao
Does anybody know if there is anything toxic in food coloring that could be harmful in reef systems??? I have a leak somewhere in my sump tank that I need to track down and thought adding a little food coloring in the water(after it's been pulled out of the system of course) to see where the leak is originating from. I would of course empty it out again but wanted to make sure that any residue wouldn't harm the system.

ThePremiumAquarium
I think you should be just fine. Especially since you plan on rinsing it out.
nwcoralfarm
If you can eat it, then I would say you are just fine.
